Skyfall didn't feel like a Bond movie at all. I was actually pretty disappointed with it from a Bond perspective, but I guess it's ok from a Judy Dench send off perspective. I also felt that Javier Bardem was under used in the movie. We didn't even see him until half way through.
Also, there were a couple of problems: Bardem is this super genius who can blow up MI-6 from half a world away, but his grand assassination plan boils down to storming a crowded courtroom and opening fire like a two-bit hood?
And that hole that he blew open to try to kill Bond with that Subway train. Did he have explosives all over the place in case Bond caught up with him in some other area? Was that the only one?
Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the movie. Definitely didn't feel like a Bond movie after the opening scene.
