Just finished reading It by King. What a great book. I read it back in high school and felt compelled to tackle it again, glad I did.

So, how about that scene at the end? You know.. where they need to "heal the group" or whatever.... yeah.

I've got Ender's Game in mah satchel this morning. I'm about forty pages from finishing The Hobbit, so I figured it was about time I tackled Ender.

So I bought some Playstation Move-specific DLC last night. Guess I should get around to buying a Move sometime.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 13, 2012 7:20:23 AM PST
....probably.

Also what did you buy?

Kirksplosion says:
Portal 2: In Motion

Was discounted for PS+ users, so I figured I better go ahead and grab it.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 13, 2012 7:35:19 AM PST
Ah

I saw that but didn't bother as I don't really care much about motion gaming. Also I haven't even beaten Portal 2 yet so I figure I should do that first. So far loving the game but I think the engine is showing. Glad to hear that Source2 is in the works.

Kirksplosion says:
I'm alright with motion gaming. Like touch screens, it's just another interesting input for gaming to me.

Of course, I really just want more Portal 2 DLC, even if it requires buying a Move controller. It's my favorite current gen game, so I'd pretty well devour whatever they put out for it.

I love motion gaming in theory. I used to be infatuated with the idea of bringing the arcade-only experiences home... stuff like Mocap Boxing, Time Crisis, etc. Unfortunately the reality of at-home motion controls has proved more cumbersome and inaccurate than I had hoped.

Now that I've played through the ones I care about, I'm letting the subscription lapse, but I've quite enjoyed the Instant Game Collection for the past few months. Crazy good value.

I've held out on getting it for the PS3 due to me already owning all the games I'd care to play, but that's not the case for the Vita. I'm definitely buying in for that.

Looking into resistance training for the sake of weightloss, and every place I go to research is full of Jargony BS that I'm sure would be awesome advice if I wasn't a fatty that rarely researches exercise.

Recently I've been using the counting calorie method. For me it's easy since I just have an app on my phone that is pretty easy to record everything (can even scan bar codes) and it makes me very aware of what I'm eating.
