Need for Speed: Most Wanted

Heard it was one of the greatest racers on handhelds ever.
Runs great, looks great, and the online is flawless. Although I did hear it was pretty short.

I'm debating picking this up for a buck on the App Store. It's supposed to be basically the same game.

I'm a little tiffed that EA didn't do the X-buy with it though since the Vita game is pixel for pixel identical to the PS3 game.

Yeah, doesn't make sense either. Pretty much the same game.

When Sony announced the program EA said they were "looking into it."

How many third party games are Cross Buy?

I thought there were only 2 confirmed x-buy games so far: Sly 4 and PS All Stars.

Only one that I can think of which is Dragon's Crown.

Both of those are first party. I wouldn't expect too many third party cross buy games.

That Knytt Underground game is x-buy too. I think there were other digital titles that are x-buy too.

Oh,
Yeah too bad. Good thing I didn't buy it then because I would've been expecting it to be x-buy.

What is Dragon's Crown going to be like? JRPG?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 21, 2012 6:51:03 AM PST
It's a side scrolling action RPG.

You haven't seen it? You have to check out the trailer. Probably not a good idea to do it at work though, don't want Booberella to get you in trouble.

I will view it on my phone, side scrolling ARPG? Sounds interesting.

I hope that Sly 4 is going to be good. It's being done by the people who did the HD upscale of the Sly PS2 trilogy and not Sucker Punch. Something tells me that Sucker Punch wanted to retire Sly after Sly 3. I don't even know what they are working on now. Infamous 3?

I saw an IGN preview of Sly 4 and it looks like more of the same except now they time travel, so it'll be cool if we can go back to when some of Sly's ancestors lived like Ancient Egypt and the Wild West.

I recently revived my bone hard for the Vita, so I might be grabbing this soon!

Same here. I never played the Sly games before I got the collection but I really enjoyed them. I just hope they don't follow such a stupid plat system that the third game did.

shiftless says:
Is it identical? I haven't played the Vita version (bought for my daughter for Christmas), but I remember the devs saying that it's close to the console version, but that they did have to make some changes to the city and possibly a few events to get it on the handheld. I had just figured it wasn't a x-buy title because it wasn't actually an identical "port" of the console version, which those first-party games are.

Dragons Crown reminds me a lot of golden axe!
