Both his opinions and mine?

Radiohead is massively overrated.

Lil Wayne is possibly the most overrated rapper of all time.

CCR is from Berkley, CA... far far away from any southern bayou.

Fat Joe deserves respect even though he sold his soul to the devil and made crappy music at the end of his career. I remember him for rapping with the best MC's out there.. D.I.T.C. Crew

For the most part anyways.

"Radiohead is massively overrated."

I recently found a song I really like from them. Exit Music.

Okay.

And I can't resist, Bieber is an untalented hack.

Good gawd yes...

I think he's talented. Bieber just has bad writers and his music isn't universally appealing, just like n-sync, backstreet boys, etc.

I think Kelly Clarkson is one of the best female vocalists since 2000.

I disagree with the opinion that anything not in English isn't worth listening to. In fact, I don't really care about song lyrics. I can appreciate good lyrics, but I listen to songs for their rhythms and melodies.

James Brown is the greatest musician of the 20th century.

How do you figure nickelback doesn't deserve the hate they get?

Some pretty awful opinions so far with the exception of the ones concerning James Brown and Justin Bieber. People who say the Beatles are overrated should either read a book or never reproduce as far as I'm concerned. Anyway mine is that Bruce Springsteen is a no talent hack and one of the most overrated rock musicians of all time.

Yeah, donnie, you don't have to announce that you disagree with the opinions in this thread. It's a thread dedicated to disagreeable opinions.

I actually really like Maroon 5.

99% of rap is terrible -- from just from a liking rap standpoint, but from a writing and musicality standpoint.

I have zero problem with Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, or just about any pop artist in that mold. They're very talented and good at what they do, and they are not automatically gay -- even if they are capable of hitting higher notes than you. If you complain about them on the internet, you're just being a hater.

The fact that bands are deemed "classic" does not make them good. It makes them something that was on the radio when your parents were teenagers. Not liking classic rock does not mean there is something wrong with you or that you're ignorant about music. Your parents did not know anything that you don't.

Music does not become automatically bad if it's popular with the general public. Nor does it become good. There is simply no correlation between popularity and quality.

This generations music can stand toe to toe with that of the 60s and 70s.
