Because Keller is a visionary and totally thought of this first, I am creating a thread to collect ID's for the Nintendo Network. I will start:

The usual name: GarionOrb

Warning to you folks though...when you send friend requests, try and do so through Miiverse as opposed to using the "Friend List" app on the home menu. Those sent through Miiverse sends a notification to the person you're trying to friend. If done through the Friends List, they won't get a notification and will only be able to add you by sending YOU a friend request in return.

Is there a way we could start a collage of reaction shots from all your parents telling them you all just bought this? We'll call it "gaming my child's future away" 2012 edition.

Spiced it up this time: KejiGoto

I know, I totally didn't think I was going to use capital letters when I realized I couldn't have a space but I figured what the hell you only live once.

How do you get one? My Wii U is bricked, so I have to wait for a new one.

GarionOrb says:
Keller...I sent you a request through the friend list like I told everyone not to do. If you want, send me one to confirm.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 20, 2012 7:21:35 PM PST
Good luck on your next unit.

FYI: IGN said bricking happened to some people who have spotty internet (meaning it kicks on and off every once in a while, like during the hour to download the update) If you know that situation applies to you, maybe you should consider calling a friend with better WiFi to borrow his internet for a little.

I think I fixed the friend problem on my end, I 'activated my settings' last night around 9ish. If somebody could send a request and see if I can be found, that would be great. Truth be told I haven't spent much time on the U yet, too darn busy. Hoping to fix that over the holidays.

I will look for that when I get home Garion. Thanks.

klopas says:
In case you haven't found out the answer, after your Wii U is completely updated, hit the Home button on your gamepad. Select the orange friend list icon. That "sets up" your friends list. Now, exit out of that.

The best way to add a friend is to then go to Miiverse, tap on your user setting, search for a user, and add a friend from there because that's the only way (so far) that the other person will get a notification.

If you add somebody directly from the friend list, he/she won't receive a notification. It's weird.

I sent you and Keji requests last night, Punk. I guessed at Keji's that it was KejiGoto, so if it's not the Keji we know, then I'm making a new friend.

I added Keji and Punk through the Friend's List, which is why they probably haven't accepted yet. I'll re-request through Miiverse.

Side note: Anyone seeing the fantastic fan artwork that is popping up in the community on Miiverse? Wow, some talented people out there.

Alright after a long couple of updates I was ready to rock last night. Then I looked at the clock and saw 12:00 and realized it was way past the bedtime. Either way I set up my account my tag is Flawlesscowboy. Nice to be an early adopter and not have to add any numbers.
