So, we're having this food drive, and the office is split up into 2 teams: Blue and Green. You can either donate food items, or make baked goods and the money earned from selling those will be used to buy additional food for the food drive.
Anyway, I thought I would contribute, so I made a regular cake with some buttercream frosting. Looking down at my cake it was looking boring, and I figured it needed some panache. So, I decide that I will write something on it. Something clever.
Even though I wasn't into this team effort thing, a lot of other people were. Being on the Blue team, who began to sink into 2nd place, I figured I would get back at the gloating Green team by writing: "Eat me Green team" on the cake.
I thought it was funny and clever, but when I went into the room where they were selling the baked goods I saw my writing scraped off, then my manager had a talk with me about how that type of thing isn't appropriate for the workplace. I explained my position, but she didn't care, so I told her to give me the cake. I told her I didn't want to be censored, so I'll just take the cake home.
