As Obi wan would say, 'Jason, use the force!' (look at your username)

Yea. Man, if you have one of each and they both work. Just buy games out for it.

I haven't upgraded my fire red 3ds because of the color options on the XL don't really appeal to me. My brother has the red Xl and the color is not as soft as I thought in person, but still not quite a color I want.

Hopeful the white makes it stateside some day or that Fire Emblem spec edition comes in the XL.

PacinoBully says:
If nothing is wrong with either system then just get games.

If you HAVE to get a new system then get the 3DS XL since that is different than your current 3DS. You get no benefit or change with just buying another Vita.

Get a 3ds. Vita's doomed.

You'd be getting more for less with the XL. I don't have an XL yet either, but it's clear upgrade. I can't wait to play some games like OoT, Star Fox and Revelations on the bigger screens. Not only that, but clickable 3D slider and Start/Select/Home buttons, 4GB SD card and the Matte finish.

I heard it was the other way around?

Uncle Ulty says:
Mario Kart 7 Bundle has the game preloaded onto the 3DS so you wouldn't be able to give it away.

Oh, damn good point.

I'd just wait until there was a 3DS color I liked or a bundle of either that appealed to me.

Also, why are you swapping out your handhelds yearly?

Jason get the 3DS XL or the White Vita if possible. Then you at least have something different!

I say 3DS XL, since you don't have one. I don't see any point in buying something you already have. Just my 2 cents. Perhaps I am frugile like that? At leasts the XL is a clear upgrade. Mind if I ask why in God's name you retire perfectly working hardware? May I suggest taking that swap money and opening a Roth IRA? :)

Just how I have always done it. Did it with PSP, GBA, etc.

Yeah, I may just bite the bullet and pay $249 for the white vita

It is incredibly awesome! I wish I had one. Probably doesn't display dirt or fingerprints as much as the black one and if you are racist its a plus!

Lucanus says:
Is the white one smaller? For some odd reason the black U is quite a bit larger than the white one. :)

I really like the white Vita also. Looks sexy combined with my black CTA Vita grips and red earbuds.

Wait for the Christmas sale. It may dip to $200 again and maybe throw a gift card on top.
