They have both seen significant price drop. Are these games worth the 20-30 dollar price tag?

I didn't like Hitman. I didn't feel it had enough freedom or player choice. And while I do own RE6, I've only played the demo; however, what I did play of the demo, I really liked.

Skip both and get Sleeping Dogs or FarCry 3 instead.

LOL, goddamn it, neither can I. Both are vastly superior, and will offer a much better experience.

Sleeping Dogs and FC3 are much better games. Prob the two best games I played last year.

I bought Hitman for $35 close to release played through the tutorial and first chapter and didnt like it at all. Its one of those games that make it seem like you have a ton of options but you dont you have to do one thing in order to move to the next. Its seemed like trial and error gaming which I cant stand. I traded it in when GS was offering crazy trade in values and got $35 for it as a trade in.

RE6 is a pretty good game lots of quick time events but decent story and good graphics. I played through each campaign and the game as a whole I would give a 7.5 out of 10.

Hitman Absolution: Does the idea of electrocuting a nun do anything for ya?

Alot of hardcore Hitman fans didn't like Absolution, but I found the game very entertaining. It feels alot like Splinter Cell Conviction in many ways, and with Conviction being one of my favorite games this gen, that pretty much explains why I liked it so much.

Really depends on what you want,RE6 is pretty much just a third person shooter Hitman Absolution gave a little more leeway but felt a little like a Splinter Cell clone.

Already purchased and beat both! They were great.

Hitman overall still feels like a Hitman game to me. I loved playing it on the hardest diffiulty, because all of the interface is completely gone, you don't have that eagle vision that shows where enemied are going to walk.

I played Leon's story in RE6, and I pretty much enjoyed myself, but Chris's story made me put the controller down.

I just picked up the sleeping dogs and it is freaking awesome! Love that game so far.

I'd probably skip both of them, honestly. Hitman wasn't a bad game, but it's not really a game that will end up surviving the generation, very much unlike Mass Effect, Portal, or BioShock.

Is this a different conversation if Absolution is $20? This thread implies it's meh when the consensus on the product page is that it's worth playing.

Peter says:
Actually, I think it is. Hitman is fun, but I think most people will only play it once. So $20 seems right (although I paid $25 for it I think).

We're just trying to save the OP time by recommending good games over average ones.

I played it 3 times to do things differently. There's a good amount of variety in how you play levels.

Re6 turned a horror franchise into a Gears of War clone, so Hitman wins, even though I haven't played it.

"FC3 = Pass"

Wtf! Yeah, pass if you don't want to play one of the best FPS this gen.

Totally Agree...even though I have all four games.
