Which is funny to say, when you consider that only 10% of the players of Bethesda games play on the PC.

That said, some of mods people come up with are great.

If you have the choice, you should always buy Bethesda games on the PC. Not only do they run significantly better on the PC, but there's a very active modding community for Bethesda games (so you can get free "DLC" (of varying quality.))

Bethesda is first and foremost a PC developer.

Yeah, let's make them buy a copy of the same game again just so they can experience the DLC. For here on out, unless it's a Sony exclusive I'm not going to be buying a game on their system. This is not 100%, but it's likely that for the remainder of this gen I'm just using PC and I will just ignore any console-only games. This doesn't limit me too much, with the exception of games such as Beyond Two Souls and Last of Us which I will be getting.

You might be waiting a while, since if Bethesda struggles to make minor DLC add-ons work on the PS3, they would probably have some serious issues with an ambitious DLC add-on.

But the PSQuatro is right around the corner, supposedly.

I had already done the exploitable quest where it is possible to get both artifacts, and unfortunately I completed it in a manor that made it impossible to go back and get the second one. The thieves guild key doesn't count towards the trophy. I spent a while researching it after the trophy didn't pop for me, and I'm positive that it was impossible for me to ever get it with that character. I ended up creating a character that I really enjoyed (two-handed specialist) just for that trophy, so I in the end I didn't mind too much. But like I said, it did require a long sabbatical while my patience regenerated.

Doesn't the trophy say that you have 15 Daedric artifacts? If so, since the game can deliver 17 or so, one item shouldn't have prevented you from the plat. Anyways, this type of game does trophies good since it convinces people to look out for quests/areas to destroy all signs of life.

I finally platinumed Skyrim a few days ago, so if by some miracle they were to announce dlc for the ps3 along with this that would be perfect... I know it took my entirely too long to platinum, but I had some bitterness when I discovered far too late that the Rueful Axe didn't count as a daedric artifact and I had to shelve it for six months while my rage subsided.

No they'll rush it out without bug testing or making sure it even works so that's its out on 12-12-12

I'll wager to say that this will hit Xbox 360 on 11-11-12.

That would be awesome.

I would care... But considering I still can't get dawnguard or hearthfire I really don't give 2 shits anymore and will most likely avoid Bethesda games in the future.. Skyrim was the first elder scrolls I ever played and the fact that they can't develop the DLC so that it works on the PS3 has just left a bad taste in my mouth

Those pics were the ones released with Hearthfire....

I used to be a huge Bethesda fan. But now it has gotten to the point that every game they develop has more bugs and glitches than their previous game. I don't think I'll be buying any more of their games until they can prove that they can make a quality game again. I feel like their last quality game was Oblivion. Since then it has been a downhill slide.

they gotta be the worst awesome game company ever

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 3, 2012 9:44:43 AM PDT
EA is quite like Activision in that they rely on two or three franchises for everything but EA is still an awful company at the end of the day. Where Activision just beats the horse until there is nothing left EA attempts to force their way into almost everything and they almost always offer a worse version than what is already on the market.

@ Nate

I'm still hoping we'll see it make the jump to the PS3 soon so they get a chance to check it out.

Yeah, the lack of DLC (even DLC for the finished games) is pretty lame.

Same here. When The Witcher 2 came to the 360, I was thrilled, not sad.

I love the trilogy, but the edition they are putting out is not complete, and I don't get why they are releasing it this way. I know it's the anniversary of the first game soon, but they haven't even done all the DLC for the third installment. The only thing I can think of is that this is forced by EA. I thought they were done acting like Activision?

I own both systems just to be clear, but this situation with the ps3 and dlc? Let it keep happening, just gives ps3 owners something else to ignore or pretend didnt happen, while they bash the xbox. lol
