Me too. I haven't heard any so far.

I'm with everyone else. Please enlighten us. Or are you just going to use the incredibly weak slippery slope argument that gay marriage will lead to pedophiles marrying kids?

You can only marry the people that you're born attracted to? Wow, that really limits the field. I'm pretty sure that when I was born, the only thing I felt attracted to was boob.

My apologies, Steve. I hadn't seen your earlier posts about gay marriage, and I was just curious about what logical reasons you might have to be against it. All of the opposition I've seen seems to be based on religious beliefs, rather than logic. That's a fine justification for why churches shouldn't be forced to conduct same-sex ceremonies (if they do not wish to do so) but not really a reason why the legal status of marriage should be denied to same-sex couples by our government, IMHO.

What are you playing on your 3DS these days? :)

GUEST!! says:
"Um, no proof that people are not born gay?"

And this means that it is evil and should remain illegal how...?

"Child abuse, pollution (certain chemicals in our water), among others."

HAHAHA... What?!

Steve, people are born gay. I am not going to just wake up and one day and like dudes or decide to be ostracized by family and society....Which was the case until recently but it is still difficult to realize one is gay, as many don't acknowledge it until later in life.

As for bi-sexuality, I will be the first to admit that I am not sure what causes that: Genetics etc?

Ice King says:
Even if being gay is a choice, so what? As long as two consenting adults are involved why does it matter?

People that believe in creation are going to have a tough time believing that homosexuality is okay. Even if they don't think it's a big bad sin, it will still be a sin by default. And they will not want to condone it on principle.

Thinking that pollutants cause homosexuality, and that homosexuality is a "health problem" isn't "thinking outside the box" you freak. It's straight-up ignorant bigotry. You better thank your god every single second that Jesus is dead or he'd kick your ass like those people selling doves for profit out of the synagogue.

You're kidding right? This has to be a joke. You just claimed that pollutants cause "health problems" which apparently being gay is one of right? Let me get this straight, I have to make sure you're actually saying this. And that people are being closed minded because they don't agree with you? Is that right?

Dukeshire says:
Steve, that is not true. It is close minded to believe that. Homosexuality has been around since the dawn of time, before pollutants. History proves that it is quite common....and in a lot of eras not even looked down upon but even encouraged.

It is not a choice. Not even close.

Anthony says:
Whether or not its a choice doesn't even matter to me. gay marriage should be legal either way. the only reason why people are against it is religion.

that's called religious oppression.

GUEST!! says:
Pardon, my mistake. For a moment there I thought you were implying that -being- gay caused greater pollution and child abuse. Also, you are absolutely the last person in this forum that needs to lecture anyone about "thinking outside the box."

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 8, 2012 9:36:57 PM PST
Dukeshire says:
It is not a belief though, Steve, it is a fact. A lot of people may agree with that but look at their political affiliation and religious extremism. I am just asking you to use common sense. Also, what does flag burning have to do this and I am not calling you names either.....

Just think about it: Think of gay people you may know and how they act. They act differently than heterosexuals, and that is due to genetics.
