it was just the fact that the death scene referenced the beginning of itself, like we had forgotten what happened... it made us laugh.

I played it for about 20 minutes last night before I ended up falling asleep, not because of the game but because of this stupid cold I've got right now. It actually seems pretty promising. I'm going to play through it once I get 1000/1000 in Splatterhouse over the weekend. Almost there!

I also just got Civilization Revolution. It has mixed reviews, but I hope I like it....

It's not nearly as in-depth as the PC versions but it's actually a decent game. Much faster paced, for better or worse depending on your point of view.

I enjoyed it. It is not like the PC version but it is still pretty fun.

I think the Family Guy game looks like fun, I've read mixed reviews on the controls for the game, but if they aren't the best, maybe they'll patch it by the time I get around to playing it.

re: Blue Dragon - The worst, most annoying voice acting in any game I've ever played. The world was bland, and everything felt pretty basic, not sure how that one was so well received, though at the time it came out there was a dearth of games, especially jrpgs.

I'll agree on the voice acting. Marumaro was like nails on a chalkboard.

The Voice Acting drove me away from that game.

I never learn... I always want the new RE game and am always sadly disappointed after 10 minutes of playing it.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 7, 2012 11:22:25 AM PST
even RE4?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 7, 2012 11:35:52 AM PST
I've felt this way since RE1, but the "time played" to "annoyance factor" ratio has gotten a lot worse over the years.

Why do you keep buying them then?!

Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified. I don't know why, but I'm drawn to it.

I'm a VG-aholic, although I never buy them at more than $20 anymore.
High hopes I guess that the next one will be as innovative and entertaining as the first one.

Also, I really like the movies, the franchise in general, and am an all-things-zombie addict!

lol, it's a losing proposition for me.

LBP Karting was one, not that I ever thought it was as bad as d-bags like Greg Miller tried to make it sound. Great game.

I want to check out Lollipop Chainsaw.

I mean, yeah, it's not bad to have your hopes up but it's been almost twenty years of existence (jeez, I feel old now) for the series. I've been burned by a few series myself, but I learned pretty quickly on that stuff. Except Frogger. I've bought that game too many times and I hate it so much. Never again.

LOL, who in the world said Chrono Cross wasn't good? That's kooky talk.

As long as they have busted, ghetto BMX bike riding in-game, I'm set.

You sold me on it, got it for $5 at my local pawn shop today. I guess I wasn't really referring to it as being a 'bad' game but more of an under appreciated game that dropped very, very quickly in price so that led me to believe it wasn't the greatest.
