But, but, does this mean Sha is incorrect? He is NEVER wrong. I mean Sha is as reliable as Karl Rove and Fox News when it comes to any and all information pertaining to Sony and MS!

I mean, how do I recover from such a shocking revelation that the might Sha is wrong.....again?

Dukeshire says:
See Andrew he is correct! One Pixel is more reliable than Eurogamer and the 14 other websites that insist that Sony will not DISCLOSE how much it sold or if it was 3.8 million shipped.

Even though the consensus seems to be that it is the amount shipped. Fox News, er Sha, has to be right. I mean One Pixel seems about as legitimate as Dick Morris' predictions for the election.

AndrewA says:
"As we reported, day one we shipped over 3.8 million copies of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Week one sales were double that of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, far exceeding our expectations."

Shipped =/= Sales. My google search shows uncharted 2 had about 875 thousand copies sold week one. 1.4 isn't quite double that, but even if it had been 1.7, that's still not 3.8 million units sold. I'm very confused how you don't understand this.

AndrewA says:
Look at the link if you didn't. He linked an article where they claimed 3.8 million shipped, proving you right.

Dukeshire says:
To be fair, Karl Rove could not understand election math....So, Sha cannot understand the difference between shipped and sold.

The lighting effects were sub par. Not sure what game you played. Have you not played it since 2008? It doesn't look as good as those other games.

Just played it the other day. Not sure what you mean by "sub par", but apparently now it means, "better than Halo 4".

Preorders up to launch for UC3...~430,000

Preorders up to launch Halo 4 ...~1.8 million

You can't possibly believe Uncharted 3 sold 3.8 million in its first day.

http://www.vgchartz.com/article/88411/uncharted-3-sells-more-than-1m-copies-in-first-week/

"Naughty Dog's hotly anticipated new title, Uncharted 3, has broken records for the franchise, selling more than 1.1 million copies in its first week on sale - 30% higher than Uncharted 2's debut. This is the 4th biggest exclusive launch for a PlayStation 3 game, behind Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4 and God of War 3, further cementing its place as one of Sony's key exclusives. It's also the 12th biggest launch overall for the PS3.

Looking forward it's hard to estimate lifetime sales without knowledge on when/if it will be bundled, however 4-5 million is most likely."

Uncharted 3 is the best looking cartoon, but it's not the best looking console game.

Not one bit. I think you like the game too much to judge its 2008 graphics without any bias.

VG Charts has Uncharted 3 at about 3 million over it's first 10 weeks, around a million first week. I know I know, boo VGChartz!, but old data like this is directly pulled from NPD and Media Create/whatever other legit companies, it's only their current weekly/monthly numbers that are usually off.

He already proved the point against the 3.8 million number with his own link.

sega genesis is better than super nintendo because Mortal combat has blood in it. and it has a better controller for Street Fighter 2 Turbo.

So did Uncharted sell 3.8 million in one day? I can't imagine that is true.

I only posted preorder numbers from there, the actual article I linked was a news article detailing Sony's claims...not necessarily based on their numbers.

Sha Gojyo says:
don't see the point anymore, since used games aren't deducted from the actual sales number, the worldwide numbers will never be legitimate.
