Thats right, i slapped down $250 for tbe console (no deals), $50 for UC, $40 for Fifa Soccer, plenty of PSN cards, $20 for WipEout (it didnt interest me at launch, but when i picked it up, it was on sale), $40 for LBP Vita, $60 for a 16GB memory card, and plenty of cases and junk to protect my vita.

This whole PS+ thing makes me happy because ive been loving the vita since PS Meeting 2011 in Febuary. Even though I own 3/6 of those games, its still a great deal.

I dont know if anybody else feels this way, but im getting tired of the broken record vita trolls. No games?

Uncharted: Golden Abyss
Gravity Rush
Assassins Creed 3: Liberation
LittleBigPlanet Vita (my personal favorite)
Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified
Need for Speed:Most Wanted
Persona 4
Ragnorak Odyssey
Street Fighter X Tekken
New Little King's Story
Modnation Racers: Road Trip
Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (my second favorite. Must play for any vita owner)

If you think those arnt games, you arent a gamer. There are also of plenty great Minis, PS Mobile, and dont forget Tearaway, Playstation All Stars, Sly Cooper, and Racthet and clank.

I got the Madden Bundle at Target when they were offering a $50.00 gift card with it. Traded in Madden at Gamestop and got the MGS collection.

How thrifty of you.

You're doing it wrong.

Everyone knows that there are games for the Vita, but the selection is thin. It's getting better, but it's not good yet. That's what everyone is saying. Thanks for the list though, it's been a while since we've had a good list warz! in here.

Yes, I am not a gamer because I don't want to go out and spend 800 dollars on a handheld with maybe 2 games that appeal to me.

Uncharted and Wipeout will be free with PS+ on the 19th. That's $70 you could've saved.

PS+ for the Vita is a terrific package - but mainly for new owners. many of us that were early adopters have most of the games offered .... UCGA & Wipeout were launch games, which I bought launch week, & GR was a big new IP which I also bought - Mutant Blobs was an interesting & reasonably priced game, so of course I DLd that ... once I was aware that plus was coming to the Vita, I stopped buying games, in the hope that I might snag something from the perks list. only Jet Set & FF I don't have ... I was hoping for discounts & DLC bargains .... anyway, for those who did not jump in & support Sony, they will benefit greatly from the new program ... I was hoping a sale for Dokuro & Sound Shapes .... maybe they will announce some discounts, as nothing was mentioned so far.

great handheld, I've not had any shortage of things to play ... update 2.0 looks to have some nice features .

The console is $250, and starts you out with everything you need. A game, memory, and a console. Not quite $800, but great math anyway! (Unless, of course, your games cost $225 each)

"saskamazon says:

Of course not, you have a 3DS!

:p

Actually no, you don't get memory...you have to buy that separately. And without a memory card, the Vita is a paperweight. So no, it doesn't start you out with everything you need...unless you buy a bundle.

Actually, yes. You do get memory.

Posted on Nov 14, 2012 7:06:29 AM PST
The Vita has 28 games so far with a metascore of 75 or above.
The 3DS has 34 games so far with a metascore of 75 or above.

6 games is the borderline between "dismal game selection" and "just look at the incredible selection of games" comments.
The more you know.
