Well it can be used on 3DS if that is any comfort to you.

I don't think a 16GB Vita card would ever drop that low. Sony charges about the same for a 4GB. Besides, Vita cards aren't class 10.

Why would it be a comfort if I don't even have a 3DS.

At least Sony is doing something good for 3DS owners. What has Nintendo done for Vita owners? Nothing!

Sony is more generous than Nintendo.

You don't own a Vita either. Unless you finally bought a AC Bundle? :)

On a side note, how great would it have been if Sony used a standard memory card?

He bought a Vita on BF.

Paper Tiger says:
It would be awesome if Nintendo had made the Vita to begin with. The 3DS system is ok but the games are plentiful at least.

You really are on top of those memory card sales, Jason. You post about them more than any other product, I think.

I. Flores says:
I think he does it specifically to rub the fact that these work on the 3DS but not on the Vita.

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 15, 2013 2:03:29 PM PST
Well, safe to say that the people who regularly post on the VGF have a laptop, a camera, a handheld video game system or some kind of product that uses SD cards and wouldn't mind knowing about a great deal on a fast memory card with decent capacity from a manufacturer known for high quality.

I trust you have no problems with such deals?

Actually, there was no mention of the Vita until you brought it up.

But that has nothing to do with your theory that I do it to rub in the fact that these cards don't work on Vita. If I were to do that I would have mentioned in the first post that they don't work on Vita.

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 15, 2013 2:12:57 PM PST
Maybe, but that card also works with a Wii-U. Great deal. :)

It is also worth noting that many people here on Amazon gave high review scores to Sony's SD card. Sony SF16NX/TQM 16GB SDHC Class 10 Memory Card

Apparently Sony makes very good SD cards but we don't seem to know about them because most people default to Sandisk, Lexar, kingston, etc...
