A working N64 with 44 games (3 of which are goldeneye) 4 controllers and an expansion pack all for 100 bucks.. Should I pull the trigger on this one?

i dont know about this. $100 for a 15 yr old system? do you still have a TV that it could attach to?

Then do whatever you want if you can afford it. If your into retro games why not

What kind of TV will you be playing it on? I may be in the minority here, but (IMHO) most N64 games have not aged particularly well. Since the N64 and PS1 were the first real push into 3D, I think they've aged worse graphically than many of their NES and SNES predecessors. Just my personal opinion, of course, and I'm usually just about the last person to care about graphics, so it might not be much of a concern for you. If it were me making this decision, I'd probably make a list of the games that I'm getting the system for and make sure those aren't available on other platforms that I might already have before taking the plunge.

I believe all but one of which are available on other platforms.

Do you own a 3DS? If so, you can play OoT and Mario 64 on that. Alternatively, if you have a GC or Wii, you can play OoT on that. The South Park game was also available on Playstation, if you've still got a PS1 or PS2 laying around.

Just something to consider. That said, if you have the space and the money, you can never have too many retro systems, right? ;-)

I don't have a 3ds if I did I would only use it for Pokemon games lol

That would be unfortunate. It's got a great library, and I love the VC (not to mention Ambassador games) for my retro fix on-the-go too.

Most TVs still have composite inputs, don't they? That said, I like using a CRT for all of my older systems. They look pretty shitty on larger HDTVs.

Yes and no... I was surprised recently to find most are leaving them out now, mine only has one composite and that's not even on the main board by the side attachment. But you can technically hook up a component as composite, so I guess the argument is moot.
