Which do you prefer? Just need something cheap and simple to holster it when I am not using it at the house.

CTA Digital PS Vita Travel EVA Protective Case

Just got this in the mail yesterday. Cheap, works, and is sturdier than I was expecting.

Also get this HORI PS Vita Screen Protective Filter and maybe this Nyko Power Grip for Vita. Those are the 3 Vita accessories I've bought and I like them all.

Also, just saw AC Liberation video gameplay and holy crap dude. How is the graphics and quality so nice on such a small device?
O.o

I too have the CTA case and was pleasantly surprised by how much it fits my needs. It is pretty sturdy and I'm happy with it but it isn't the kind of case where you're going to pack every accessory you've ever bought with it. There's a Sony case and either a Nyko or Hori if you're looking for a "kitchen sink" solution.

Also, I loved the Hori screen protectors so much that I actually did a review. They're AWESOME.

The grips I passed on.

What I do think you need is a game case with some memory card slots. As soon as yuo have more than one mem card you're going to need to store them. I got the blue Nyko but haven't opend it yet.

The Best Buy armor case seems solid for $15. May even be 20% off.

For something soft to carry, i probably just talk you into the Pull N Go Folio...since it has smaller soft case that velcros into the bigger case, and you are just covered all around...specially if you end up with a decent collection of game cards at some point.

PDP PSVita Pull 'N Go Folio

I recommend this one, hands down.

This is the one I was trying to remember besides the Sony case.

Seems like a good set - maybe more than you want to spend initially.

The nice thing about the smaller case is it has a hard inner shell that protects the thumbsticks. Definitely a solid case.

And the larger portion of it can store the charging cables, extra games, AR cards, and memory cards.

This one. Seems decent, i got one for my brother for Xmas. Holds a few carts.

I might consider upgrading to the folio down the road but for now the CTA got me started well enough.

I love mine. I even keep the smaller case out of the larger one and i can zip up my Vita inside of it while mounted into the PDP Grips.

If i'm just keeping it in a drawer, on my desk or bringng it into the car, that is how i generally store it. I keep the middle net packed with the cords, so it serves as a bumper from sliding around, PDP bottom handles facing the corners. Granted it may not survive a good stomping that way.

Looks good, too bulky for my purposes. I have video game cases for games and a simple case for the PS vita. The Vita won't be for on the go unless I take it on a plane. Which is rare for me to even step onto a steel tube flying 40,000 feet above ground.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 6:19:10 AM PST
The smaller case that pulls out of the larger one isn't too big.

I would recommend:
PlayStation Vita Protective Film - Two Pack
PlayStation Vita Travel Pouch

The screen protector goes on easy and I had no problem with air bubbles. The case is really nice and has room for a few games and the charger cables.

Nope, same size as most. I personally hate peddling with the small Vita cases and like being able to slide the carts out for a quick change.

Pretty much any travel one that holds 3-4 carts and has the grooves to protect the tumbsticks is a good way to go though.

Heck, if it never leaves your room and you are in a carpeted home with no kids around, you can just keep it in a velvet bag. My brother uses the soft velvet bag his 3D glasses came in. Slides right in snug and you can conveniently use it for a wipe down.

D_Strasse says:
This is the Sony case I was referring to. So if JJ wants a "take everything" solution, yeah, this or the folio are both good choices. If not, or on a budget, the CTC case is pretty darn good.

Also, I'd still go with teh Hori protectors if it was me.
