AC Ege has been gone from the VGF for several years. Admiral said he used to hang out in the PC forum (I think), but I don't know if that's true anymore. I do know that he defended the PS3 as if his life depended on it and was easily trolled.

Yeah, I had kind of gotten tired of consoles. Bought a PS3, then a ton of games and realized I was hardly playing them. A friend had gotten me into WoW and I noticed I was spending more time playing one game then any of the games I kept wasting money on. So sold my PS3 and all the games to a friend for like 800 bucks and just played WoW for about 8-9 months.

By that time the upgrade scene had settled down and I got into Steam and really got hooked on their deals. I'm pretty much MMO'd out these days. GW2 is a lot of fun, but I definitely dont feel that staying up all night playing itch.

IMO, there hasn't been a better troll since Fryfat.

I cant remember, did Fryfat hit the VGF first or the PS3 forum first? I remember he used to troll the PS3 forums quite a bit and then when I started posting here noticed he was here as well.

I also remember my extreme hate of the game SaGa Frontier. I still somewhat despise that game. It's my own personal Lair.

Michael Goldstein on the Health forums would like to disagree with you. Seriously that guy made Fryfat look sane.

Ah, RMS. Fryfat in his zombie form.

You're not alone in your hatred of the SaGa games..

IMO FryFat can't be considered a troll, because he actually believed everything he said to be right.

I think Rang was the only person I ever remember defending the SaGa games.

Thats the worst part, I LOVED the first one. One of my favorite RPG's of the PS era. And then SaGa Frontier came along. I bought it, played like 2-3 hours and thought "Wow this game blows". A week later just traded it into GS while I could still get like 30 bucks out of it.

Then like 2-3 years later, I see it on sale for $20 and foolishly think "Hey, I really loved the first one, maybe I just didnt give this one a chance....". I've never been fooled twice by the same game other then this one. And yes, I forced myself to play about 10-15 mind-numbing hours of the game because "It HAS to get better....".

No, no it doesnt......

I dont even think Rang defended that one.

I lurked for a couple of months before the $110,000 collection thread took off, and then I started posting. I remember more about this forum by memes and trolls than I do by dates.

Like many of you, I'm blocked from most other VG sites. This is the forum of last resort!

Funny thing is, there's actually a strong cult following for the series, I discovered. Don't ask me why, as I'm the same as you can could never play more than a few hours of the games. Yet there's people devoting themselves to playing through those 'games' dozens of times, so I guess they must have some redeeming factors?

I think eventually I may try to go back and play them but only after I complete the rest of the PSX RPG lineup in my backlog...

I'm guessing late spring-summer 2011 around the same time all the gaming sites where obsessed with the 3DS's demise.

Does anybody remember a poster with the nick of T-something. I cant remember the name, but he was INSANELY angry. Sort of like Castillo's post, but he'd just blow up on anything and everything. I think he started over on the PS3 forum as well but migrated here. It use to be hilarious sometimes how easily he'd get riled up and just start raging at someone.
