That's pretty funny, I never thought about Pokemon like that, but some of the people in this thread take these lists way too seriously.

''SNORT OMG that is NOT a post apocalyptic game! Says me!''

So, what IS your definition of an "apocalypse?"
If everything getting destroyed by aliens and humans being oppressed and the interwebz being turned off aren't "apocalyptic," I don't know what is.

The Last of Us is going to destroy all of these games when it comes out.

I don't know much about the story of Darksiders, but considering that you're controlling one of the four horsemen, isn't that pre- or at least during-apocalyptic?

Hello Mass Effect! Post the previous apocalypse!

If you ever played it, you'd see that it's definitely post.
Maybe the first few minutes would be considered "during," but that's it. People are toast and the Apocalypse has happened.

I saw the irony in your post.

Meh, as if that means anything. I've "ignored" most people on here. It makes opening every thread like unwrapping a present.
Half of them end up being argyle socks that are two sizes too small. Every once in a while, though, there are some decent ones.

There should be at least four Fallout games on the list of ten best Post-Apocalyptic Video games.

I think the Hubble saw the irony in that post.

They listed the series as one entry.
Otherwise, Pokemon could have filled up the whole list.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. isn't Post-apocalyptic either, though it certainly does have a post-apoc feel. The rest of the world is OK, it is just the area around Chernobyl and Pripyat that are FUBAR.

I second putting Enslaved on there.

Haha I love how they put Pokemon at #1. It looks like it pissed some folks off, as expected.

No Borderlands, RAGE or Fallout 3/New Vegas?
Otherwise pretty decent list with a few exceptions (Pokemon?)
