It's cheap and tastes decent. Easy to eat and goes well with any occasion.

You - being a proctologist and all - should definitely know why.

Ice King says:
I like McDonalds because they let me fire my guns in the dining room area. I like how the kickback propels my scooter several feet. I don't need to charge it as much that way. It's like free renewable energy.

Yeah I ate it at my third cousin's funeral. Gilbert, you will be missed!

Is it odd that this thread is making me crave McDonalds?

Ice King says:
You're American, right? I'd be surprised if you didn't crave McDonalds.

"It's threemend-" *goes berserk killing 15 civilians and throwing cars everywhere*

Hate that word.

That Emu Kid says:
Pretty much any mention of McDonalds makes me crave a mcdouble. I understand that it's mental conditioning and I've been brainwashed or whatever, but I don't really care. I just want a mcdouble.

Bobbum Man says:
This is what you are wondering about?

I wouldn't say it's a big deal. It's not like I dress up in fancy clothes and arrive in a limo. But seeing as Americans are the hardest working and busiest people in the world it's convenient if you don't have a lot of time for a meal.

two all beef patties + special sauce + lettuce + cheese + pickles + onions + sesame seed bun = big deal

....Did anybody else read this hearing an 'urban' beat playing in the background?

Because you can't fire off your gun without hitting a McDonalds in the States... Well, that or a Starbucks...

Ice King says:
Not me, I remember the old commercial where it was a jingle.
It did remind me a joke the kids used to tell where the two all beef patties were two fat twin girls, the special sauce was "special Ross", and I forget the rest.

Or a Dunkin Donuts if you are here in Boston.

I had a chocolate shake recently when I was at standby at the airport. I can't remember the last time I actually ate there.
I did have another chocolate shake last week as they were pretty good. Wasn't as good as the one I was craving for at the airport.
So, next time I go to McDonalds, I probably won't remember the last time I was there, unless this thread stays alive for a couple years.

Why are they called French Fries anyway? French fries, french cut green beans, french toast, french bread pizza, french kiss... Is any of this stuff really French?

Cap'n Crunch says:
I don't now, but that is a good question.

Ice King says:
I think French bread pizzas are made using French bread.
French kissing is probably called that because we've always seen the French as more sexually open than we are.
I've never heard of French cut green beans, are you sure it's not "fresh" cut?
