Thanks gents, based on those youtube videos, Fez certainly looks interesting. I went ahead and grabbed Fez, Trine 2 and Mark of the Ninja.

Fez is fun, but eventually it turns into homework.

This is true. You'll find your own breaking point eventually. I translated the directional stuff and the number system, but gave up with the alphabet.

Fez looks like a fun platformer. 400 MSP = $5 right? seems like a good price to me

ehh maybe not after reading the last few posts.

The alphabet is not worth the effort for (I believe) just one bonus cube. Just GameFAQs that ish. The other code is kind of cool though.

It's not THAT bad. I mean, I probably got a good 6-7 hours out of it and "beat" the game by just jumping around, exploring, and having fun.

The really difficult stuff is mostly for completionists.

If you're buying in hopes of a great platformer, I'd say stay away. It's a unique puzzler. Platforming is very little of the focus.

It's definitely worth $5 even if you never get into the complex code-cracking part of it.

I also like the fact that there are no enemies and no combat. It's a great chill-out game.

Am I that guy who updates a thread every day? I guess so. I've never been that guy. It feels weird.

I declare all of these Rockstar deals unimpressive at best.

Yeah, LA Noire was $10 a couple of months ago.

Has anyone figured out what tomorrow's "TBD" games are going to be?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 21, 2012 7:03:14 AM PST
There's a rumor that it will be Tony Hawk games.

Yeah, that sucks but I'm strangely grateful. I have some Bing points coming in and with this crappy sale I can get all of the Summer of Arcade games for free tomorrow.

I saw on http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Dust-An-Elysian-Tail/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80258410a67

That Dust is already 600 Microsoft Moon Dollars. That's not the normal price, is it?

StriderNeo15 says:
No, it launched at 1200 points.

I think it was a good choice. It's also worth noting that while the game was published by MS, it was mostly developed by one guy who spent four years of his life on this project.
