All scores taken from Metacritic. It took me a while to count all these games up but I figured I would actually use cold hard facts for once. I used all games above a 75 rating on Metacritic, because games rated 75 or higher are usually more desireable to gamers.

360 games rated 90 or higher- 50

360 games rated 80 or higher- 317

360 games rated 75 or higher- 248

PS3 games rated 90 or higher- 45

PS3 games rated 80 or higher- 279

PS3 games rated 75 or higher- 172

There is unarguable proof the 360 has a more desired game library than the PS3 according to overall critical reception. I cant think how any videgame fan could look past these facts.

THE 360 IS THE PS2 OF THIS GENERATION AND PS3 FANS NEED TO LEARN TO ACCEPT THAT.

When you take into account the 360 is a less expensive console, the 360 has a better game library, the 360 has a better online (even if it is more expensive), the 360 does not have mandatory installs, the 360 is known to have multiplats that perform better, the 360 has a controller that is known to be more comfortable and ergonomic, the 360 has faster download speeds and LIVE has more game, movie, music and add-on content than PSN has, there is no question to ANY TRUE GAMER which is a better standalone system this gen.

YOU MAY PREFER THE PS3 TO THE 360 (WHICH IS FINE) BUT THAT OPINION IS IN THE MINORITY AS FAR AS GAMERS ARE CONCERNED (HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE SALES, AND AS FAR AS CRITICS ARE CONCERNED (METACRITIC).

I think poor people and narrow minded people are fanboys. Each system has it strengths and weaknesses, no one system is perfect. I like Halo and Ninja Blade on my 360 and I like my Heavy Rain and Max Payne 3 on my ps3, I barely touch my Wii outside of virtual console games.

Not sure what that has to do with the conversation.

360 has more high rated games. Deal with it.

Hahaha, THIS!

So it took him a long time to do bad math? Sheesh.......less time fapping over the 360, more time learning math!

I like PC for REAL gaming!

I like PS3 for e-peen trophy levels.

I like Xbox 360 when I need an extra space heater in my man cave.

Nah the numbers are correct. It's the way I worded the original post that's wrong.

Should be 360 games higher than 90
360 games between 80 and 90
360 games between 75 and 80

You get the point either way. The 360 library is more critically acclaimed and that's a fact.

I don't think there is an undisputed king of the consoles this generation. Each of the three has a method you can use to claim supremacy.

The Wii sold the most units.

The PS3 had the best exclusives.

The 360 had the best on-line services.

You can go on and on and never reach a consensus. I for one think that is pretty cool.
