At least among the high ranked players. I'm not talking about numbers, but just being decent and fair. The majority of the time when I'm playing 2 vs. 2 and my teammate looses all his lives, one of the other team's members will sit off to the side instead of ganging up on me. I'm sure people who play the game as much as me know what I'm talking about. I think it's just the right thing to do and it usually ends up making the match a lot more interesting.

So yeah...Kudos to the All Stars online community. I think we're awesome.

You suck so bad that you've literally bored competing players to death? Wow.

Go to guy = Kratos

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 15, 2013 6:45:14 AM PST
It's a legitimate strategy.

I've only used Kratos to beat the story mode. I refuse to take him online.

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 15, 2013 6:50:15 AM PST
That's the joke. Kratos - mash square rapidly = win.

Kratos strategy: Square Square Square Square Square Square Square Square R2

The Drizzle says:
the only character i have played well with online so far is Spike

In reply to an earlier post on Jan 15, 2013 7:08:20 AM PST
Spike is awesome. My go to character is Ratchet. But I'm decent with Sweet Tooth and Sly.

It seems every match has a Dante, Kratos, or Raiden. So I don't ever use those characters.

I absolutely hate Kratos but I know how to block the crap out of him so he doesn't do much damage unless he's far away and throws his damn blades. I have always used Sweet Tooth, Ratchet and Sackboy but after Drizzle told me about Spike he has turned into my go to guy.

I'm glad to see that the game really does have a good online community (for both PS3 and Vita). But I absolutely *hate* how it'll literally put a level 1 character in the same match as someone who's level 300. How on earth does that even make sense!?

That Emu Kid says:
Level is really only representative of how much a person has played with that specific character. It doesn't mean a whole lot.

the levels do indicate how much experience the player has, as do the belts. I think the matchmaking should try & keep things a bit more balanced .... say within a hundred or so - so you aren't playing against a black belt level 999 your first online match ... at least the characters don't level up ... hope the new level & Kat / Emmet drop soon ... looking fwd. to trying them out.

Matchmaking costs money. Apparently even too much for a powerhouse game like CoD to utilize a matchmaking option. Apparently the only console game in the world to use matchmaking is Halo.

The belt level is much more important, yeah.

I don't think people really understand the delicate balance that matchmaking is. It's not just about finding someone else with a level that's close to yours. There are other important factors, like lag, size of the player pool, and region. Most people also don't want to wait ten minutes to get into a game.

I wonder how they do it ... are the players from your continent ? I often hear folks speaking in languages other than english .... I appreciate how the game plays without lag & I rarely am dropped - the odd time I might lose my connection, but not often .... I quite like the game - going to play some 2 v 2 this weekend ....

I love Radec. In fact, playing as him inspired me to get the Killzone trilogy.

Mine is Raiden. I need to get back into this excellent game.

How are you liking the Killzone Trilogy? KZ2 is one of my favorite campaigns ever. I need to replay it one of these days.
