Nobody says:
Obviously this is directed toward males.

I don't and can't imagine who would. If you do, how come?

I don't.
2 hours on Sundays in children's ministry is enough for me.

I get why people do and I used to, but no, I dont want kids. They annoy me and I want to live my life and have nice things and go places whenever I want.

The world is too cruel of a place to have kids nowadays.

Your question reminds me of the movie Bad Santa when that Gilmore Girls chick asks Billy Bob if he "likes kids" and he takes it the wrong way, ha ha.

No kids for me thanks. I'm too selfish, and plus they get on my nerves.

there's a tendency here gamers don't want kids... no kids no future, games prevent procreation, no future is bad, race extinct, so games are bad afterall...interesting

FV says:
No, cause I would do a terrible job raising them.

So with all of us not wanting kids, I guess the VGF is going to be the group to both solve and cause a population crisis?

Ugh!!!!

Here I go again. Ok, so most of you must be young (I could have sworn I said this today already). I do have two boys 8 and 9 and let me tell you that if at my age (mid 30's) if I didn't have them I would feel empty. I can't imagine what it would feel like if I was fifty and there was nothing there. No legacy. No one that you made.

I'm sure there are plenty of older people that feel that their lives are better without them. I know some in real life. But I think that there is always going to be an emptiness inside. And when most of you get older you will realize that you may want one.

Trust me....been there and done that.

I just don't want kids because I'm busy enjoying my life, spoiling myself, once kids come that ride is over.

That depends...can you return them if they are not up to your liking?

As of the past few months, the wife and I have decided we do want kids.

In fact, I am getting closer to telling the wife to go off her birth control so we can "officially" start. I've had plenty of practice with her the past 8 years. ;)

Just got a few "priorities" I want to get straightened out this month and we should be all set.

Kirksplosion says:
I think not wanting to have kids is a perfectly valid, reasonable thing. Just as much as wanting to have them. I have always known I'd want kids at some point (have a one-year-old daughter now), but I don't think everyone who goes without a child will feel empty later in life.

I do want A kid and she is now 4 months old. One of the best things that has happened to me. It definitely isn't for everyone. Requires a major lifestyle change and the ability to do so.

jtshiel says:
I don't think my wife can have kids and I'm perfectly fine with that. We haven't done anything to stop it for over 5 years so I doubt we'll have any. That was always her excuse to me about a legacy. Really it doesn't bother me.

Prankster says:
Yep, sure do. Though there's still some time for that to happen, I think.
