J. Pardee says:
Perhaps not hardest workers but we easily work more than other countries do(not including sweatshops). Plenty of business operate on a 24/7 schedule and companies are open are pretty much every single holiday.

I did work with some exchange students. Laziest workers I've ever met.

Rockhardly says:
"yeah, most hours, but laziest work ethic."

I'm guessing you haven't worked with many people outside of the US.

That Emu Kid says:
Hardest working can have a lot of different connotations, but yeah, as far as business hours go, Americans work more than most other first world countries.

It's true, we don't get as many vacations. Americans are overworked...

Rockhardly says:
"Well here in southern MS my point is pretty valid."

And so is his, about it depending on where you live.

MS is the #1 state for obesity, terrible health, etc.

Claiming that MS represents the rest of America with regards to obesity is like someone living on a CA beach claiming that every American likes to skate around on roller-blades while wearing spandex and singing along to 80's dance hits.

B. Hoover says:
"But seeing as Americans are the hardest working and busiest people in the world it's convenient if you don't have a lot of time for a meal. "

Wut.

Subway is my road-trip fast food of choice. But McDonalds will always be fondly remembered for my first date. I got the filet o' fish, and she got the chicken nuggets (a new menu item, at the time) with sweet and sour sauce. My mom sat in the other room. I must have been five or six at the time. I wonder what she's up to now. I heard a rumor years ago that she was doing time for meth dealing.

McAwesomeo says:
I usually reserve McDonald's for late-night options. There are only two or three 24 hour drive-throughs in my city.

I haven't been for a long time either but for me it's less of a boycott and more I live in place with a lot of food options. McDonald's is usually reserved for long road trips where the options of what to eat on the highway are limited.

Frankenzubaz says:
I haven't been to McDonald's in close to 15 years. It's been so long, I forgot why I started boycotting them.
