To Ruth, shipped it out today :)

She wired me the money through Chase.

250 bucks got her a Vita, 16GB memory card, Sly Cooper, Rayman Origins, nice armored case, and charging dock. I originally told her 200, but she said I am crazy and offered me 250. She's a good negotiator. Anyway, I did a good deed, gave up something I never play to someone who will love it.

Mind if I join the club?

J. Pardee says:
I think you mean Ruth is a terrible negotiator! =D At least you were able to sell the system to a fellow VGF'er that wanted the system though.

Great purchase, Ruth!

JJ, shame on you.

I call phoney on this, no one would willingly purchase a VITA!

(I'm joking, I love my VITA)

Hey says:
I know my Bible pretty well and I don't remember Ruth ever buying a Vita in it...

Ruth is crazy, could have used that extra 50 bucks to get Tomb Raider.

:D I'm super excited! And I still think it was a good deal. (I hope your downvotes are because people disapprove of my wanting to pay more, lol. Who downvo...never mind. I know the answer to that.)

Quiet, Pardee. I offered. He would have been silly to not accept. ;)

Mrs. User says:
Ruth doesn't really want to buy Tomb Raider right now. But nice of you to think of her ;) She wants to rent it and save her cash for the preorder of Bioshock she's picking up soon.

What other games are you looking forward to for the Vita, Ruth?

Mrs. User says:
Not really sure, actually. I have a friend with a code for All-Stars who is going to hook me up, so there's that. I want to play Gravity Rush, and I'm thinking Soul Sacrifice looks good...

The do yourself a favor and don't rent Tomb Raider until after Bioshock =p

Let me warn you off of Ragnarock Odyssey if you are considering that at all. I like most everything of the action/RPG ilk and I really don't enjoy that :(

The Muramasa remake is going to be a must-buy, though.

That's very nice of Ruth! At least it went to a fellow VGF'er!

Good plan! :) Gravity Rush is pretty cool, and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward is another one of my favorites so far. Do you have PS+?

Mrs. User says:
Don't be wounded. I'm kidding. You know I love ya.

*AND* I can see how that doesn't make my negotiating skills top level. But I know how much the whole thing cost him, and how much it would cost me, and I wanted to make an offer I thought was fair. :)

Mrs. User says:
I don't. Yet. I wanted it, but I just never really committed to it...I have more of a reason to, now. Buying a Vita was half impulse buy, half considered decision because I just helped my friend shop for one, so I wasn't actually thinking of buying it right now.

PS+ is just something I really should have done a long time ago, lol.

I know. I only joke in a loving way with you! =D

If you like JRPGs I couldn't recommend Persona 4 Golden enough.

It's just flat out cool. The songs do get a bit repetitive, but until you OD on them, they are pretty catchy. The gameplay is solid, and the story is interesting. Plus, it just looks really neat.
