I would have totally bought that G155 if I had known about it. I was exhausted last night and pretty much dead to the world though.

It is quite entertaining to read how hopeful people were at the beginning of this thread, and how it instantly switched once the deals were posted. Sure, Amazon has been pretty terrible for VG deals in general, but this was advertised as more than just a VG gold box. Still, we should have known better than to get our hopes up.

I was able to get every lightning deal that I was ready for this year - maybe about 4 or 5. They still went quick but not nearly as bad as last year. Those were impossible.

Yea I think SR3 wasn't available anywhere for that price. The only game I didn't get from Amazon was Dark Souls since it was available for $14.99 at NewEgg and turns out a couple days later it was available for $15.99 here as well. All in all, I was pretty happy with the holiday shopping this year. The only game I missed out on was AC: Revelations because only the 360 version was on sale all the time.

I am very fit, but I still prefer to play a good RPG over Zumba games

I honestly thought they'd be clearing out the rest of their BF inventory today, so I kind of expected a few of the BF titles to be on sale again.

I thought the lightning deals were a bit better this year too but there were definitely exceptions like The Sly Collection and Max Payne 3 (both which I was able to get). They kind of covered it up with the price drops at random times though like the one where you were able to snag Sly. Skyrim and Dishonored both being lightning deals were still available for those prices later on too.

Best gold box ever.
Of course I'm a fitness nut and not a fat basement dwelling loser.

I think its funny that most people honestly thought they would see anything comparable to black thursday/friday. There are people that like some of these games all of us do not and i would say deserve a deal. There is probably another forum with people saying WTF Borderlands 2 etc are on sale again. But the only good game up there is Epic Mickey 2 possibly just depends on what system

I love how we all say the same thing when these 'deals' come across on Amazon.

1) I think Amazon know they suck; or they are the worlds best troller.
2) Amazon doesn't care if we go to BB, GameStop, or WalMart for gaming deals.
3) I go where my wallet saves money, if it's Amazon or GameStop, I will shop there.

I thought Amazon was pretty fantastic this Black Friday. They offered all the deals Best Buy and Walmart offered with better shipping policies. This gold box definitely sucks but I can't get angry at Amazon after being able to purchase so much for so cheap :)

Amazon used to be the go-to place for great deals on anything, not just video games, but it seems like they've really crapped out over the last few months/years. Their "sales" aren't that great anymore and can be beaten at almost any big-box store.

My wife actually uses Zumba Fitness Rush and she's not a "fat soccer mom." It's a good workout.

Trust me my man, non-disabled people don't play it. It's a lame excuse for fat soccer moms to feel like they are worthy when they sit at home all day.

Sad, mean, but very true.
