Apparently I have another treasure. This keyboard which I spent less than $15 for is now priced over $100. Even Amazon warehouse is offering a $70 gift card to trade it in.

I think the rarest thing I've got is some pre-order Zelda bonus thing. Didnt even realize it was worth money. Bought a Gamecube when the prices went super low and picked up this no-box disc that included Wind Waker, OoT, Majora's Mask and like 3 other Zelda games (cant remember offhand). Got tired of the case so googled to try to print at least a case sleeve, when I found out the thing was worth like 100 bucks back then. Apparently it was a pre-order bonus for some game and was super rare....and I paid like 20 bucks for it at GameStop. One of the few times I was happy the clerks there tend to have very little gaming knowledge.

Edit: Ahh that sucks, just checked it out on Ebay and dropped price big time. When I bought it, the unopened ones were going for like 200-300 bucks and the opened/caseless ones were going for 50-100, now looks like the unopened are 100. Eh oh well, never planned on selling it anyways, just always thought it was kind of funny that the Gamestop clerks put something fairly rare like that up on the shelf for 20 bucks.

Well I just found out another treasure. I just happen to look in my closet sometime last week and I found this

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0015PFX38/ref=sr_1_18_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1353011371&sr=8-18&keywords=castlevania&condition=new

Didn't know it would be worth anything until looked it up today. Mine isn't sealed though. I don't remember it ever being sealed. Still in perfect condition though.

I have the MGS HD Collection LE for PS3. I opened it but the Art Book and Box are sitting in my closet. Practically New. Hopefully its worth something one day. I really want to get Hideo to sign the Art Book.

I've got all the Suikodens (why oh why won't they put the rest on PSN), Valkyrie Profile, and Dark Alliance II. Not sure about Metal Gear, that might be in the box too. Oh, and the black label Final Fantasies, got all those for PSX too. Nice to know all that money spent wasn't a waste, not that I plan to sell anything.

We also have several of the gold cartridge Zelda games.

And now that everyone knows, these things went up in value by 1000%.

Yeah, the coin in the baggy was normal. I never removed mine either.

My Septim coin came in a separate plastic baggie as well, which has never been opened. And my History of Tamriel book has a different cover than his in that video.

MrFoxhound says:
I think there was a cloth map preorder bonus for Skyrim at Best Buy, but I don't remember anyone giving away a cloth map for Oblivion, and it definitely wasn't part of the CE.

I can't even remember where I bought it, probably Best Buy.

Mine didn't. It's like my CE Dragon Age map.

I thought the Oblivion CE came with a paper map.

I still have my CE Oblivion with the cloth map and Septim coin still in mint condition.

I'm keeping my sealed Xenoblade copy to the grave, or some Ebayer can pry it from my cold, dead hands!

PacinoBully says:
Getting your games graded is the dumbest thing ever. Who ever thought of the idea of grading collectables is swimming in his money and laughing.

J. Arthur says:
Also, most collectors want sealed copies of these games and many will only buy if they have been graded by VGA. Some VGA graded games can be worth a small fortune.

J. Arthur says:
Could not agree more. The Sky FF set is amazing. Considering that only 1000 were made, it is also very valuable.

started collecting it when the 2600 was in swing. other than all of the old gaming mags my oldest collectibles may be the Activision patches they would mail you if you sent them a photo of your high score.
