We should ban violent video games. They're teaching our children to pilot multi-ton bipedal vehicles of war.

I did the same....

Her stuff before she was a Page 3 girl were the best. She worked with this incredibly talented British photographer named Michael White who specialized in very lovely natural photography without the copious amounts of photoshopping that go into the english Boys mags.

I just looked up Iga Wyrwal.

I'll be in my bunk.

Hmm, okay.

The maps are pretty big and fairly well designed. Matches seem to cap out at 10v10, I think.

Will give this a try this week. Maybe today or tomorrow.

Love Mech games, but the few that have been in our over the years just didn't sit well with me. So maybe this will be good.

How are the environments? Maps big? What's the match size?

Punk mentioned he gave it a shot with the controller and that it worked pretty well.

Yeah she's nice. lolz

How's the 360 controller with it?

This game is like having Jesus as your fry cook making you a bacon cheeseburger with kobe beef while Iga Wyrwal gives you a private show in the other room.

So I read through 5 pages of Captain flirting with Guest, is there any actual impressions of the game?

:D

I had the same issue with my 6870... I tried everything, and the fps went down to 10-20 in fighting scenes. I asked my gf at the time why it looked like that, and she said it was suppose to be like that. I was like...okay....lol.

Ouch.

Also, default settings are pretty much never accurate.

Well with my new card that won't be a problem. :-)

Also, I ran into an issue with Alice: Madness Returns. The game defaults PhysX on high, which means my card was running it sub-20 fps, and combat was a slideshow. Took me a couple hours of searching to figure it out. That convinced me that my next card would be an NVIDIA.

GW2 defaulted to high, but I had to manually move everything down to medium when I hit my first dungeon because it was kicking my ass and dropping down to low FPS.

Also, when I say I've had better luck with this card I'm referring specifically to the fact that I've had not one but two cards decide "Meh. Heatsinks? Who needs 'em," drop their heatsinks, and melt.

I thought the same thing, but I've been hearing lately that PhysX decreases performance quite a bit.

Hawken defaulted to Medium for me as well and I cranked it up. Your card is similar to mine actually.

GW2 defaults to medium as well, but I put everything on max and increased both draw distance and run supersampling with 30-45 fps.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 17, 2012 4:49:26 AM PST
That's largely due to this long console gen, I think. I will say my next card will certainly be an NVIDIA rather than a Radeon. For PhysX.

That's pretty much how I feel. Had better luck with this card than with any other gpu I've ever owned.

Yep! I'm planning on a new card late next year. I figure getting 2-3 years out of the one I have now isn't bad.

Yeah, but I'd still like to get it upgraded before 2013 closes out. Up until this year I was running most things I encountered on high. Now I have a couple games defaulting to medium. Sounds like a good time for an upgrade. lol

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 17, 2012 4:26:28 AM PST
Heh, I figured it was a little lower on the number end. :)

That card isn't that bad though. It's still a very capable mid-range GPU.

Wow, I was way off. Cap, just looked it up. My card is a GTX 275.
