Quite frankly I dont think MS should even bother with Japan next generation. Screw it, it obviously is a lost cause.

How many of you suckers bought both the orginial 3DS and the XL? Did you also buy a circle pad pro for each of them? Unbelievable how people still fall for this garbage.

The butthurt is strong with this one.

As well as his two upvoters. Goodness, it never fails to surprise me how an anti Nintendo comment, no matter how off-base or insulting will get you some kudos 'round here.

Does it bother you?

I think some people forget what a powerhouse Nintendo still is.

Wrong.

I find it silly. Also somewhat telling too, apparently Nintendo has angered the so-called "core" gamer.

Considering the major sales a great many people fell for it.

Looks like 3DS is having a great week in Japan. People were waiting in line for Animal Crossing:

http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20121108-00000004-isd-game.view-000

Nintendo shipped 500,000 copies and it looks like 80-90% sold through on the first day.

Some retailers are putting up signs that they sold out of AC:

The 3DS hardware currently has thirteen spots in Amazon Japan's Top 100.

I remember when Douglas, Flores, Gay and Oskar all said the end was near for Nintendo. LOL

Yakuza 1 + 2 in HD? I didn't know that was even a thing. I want it. I want it now. Gimmiegimmiegimmie!

I was never able to finish Yakuza 1 due to a freezing bug in the PS3s that use software emulation.

What's with the repetition? Am I missing a joke from some console war thread?

During the spring and summer of 2011 there was a lot of cheerleading over low 3DS sales here on VGF. Some of the Special Eds predicted that the 3DS was doomed, that the Vita would bury it in sales, etc...

Just a friendly reminder of the SDF predictions that didn't come true. Combined with a bit of boredom.

Sony really needs to drop the price of the Vita, like soon.

New Vita colors coming November 15th.

Oooh, that will make the $300 investment (game, console, mandatory memory card) so worth it.... oh wait, never mind.

Will there be physical copies of Okami HD as well as digital available?

Benpachi says:
Not in NA or the UK. You can import a physical release of the Japanese or Asian versions. The Asian version does have English, so if you need a physical copy you can import it.

I got mine from Ebay:

DVvM says:
In Japan definitely, in the U.S. probably not.

People in Japan, for whatever reason, haven't taken to downloading games. It's a cultural thing. So while you can release something on PSN or XBLA in the U.S. and a bunch of people will buy it, if you want to sell a game to a lot of people (even a smaller cheaper game) in Japan you kind of have to release a physical version.
