It is Dust: An Elysian Tale.

This looks like an open-world Brutal: Paws of Fury.

That is going to give me nightmares for at least a month, but gameplay looked awesome. And that title belongs to Star Fox 64....even though Krystal is sadly not in it.

So does anyone remember the old game Oni? It's the only 3D brawler game I've actually enjoyed.

Oni was basically the video game version of "Ghost in the Shell" the protagonist even looked a little like Major Kusanagi.

Sort of, yeah. Lots of anime themes but fewer adorable spidertanks.

Blocking didn't need a key, you block whenever you look at someone. The camera was fluid and made walls invisible instead of jamming up against the character's head. Combos were strictly attack-button-based instead of v \ > SHORYUKEN that only work when your movement is secondary to fighting.

Hopefully this thing has similar levels of competence!
