Isaac Clarke and Zeus are out today along with a major update for balancing issues. The update is 855mb on Vita. I'm glad my brother bought me a 32 gb memory card for xmas.

The two characters are 4.99 each and the new mao is 1.99.

I think a lot of people will be spamming Clarke's sawcutter. Zeus is probably overpowered already, from what I've seen of him.

And finally, Drake's barrels are getting nerfed today.

Everybody has fixes. Yeah, that's highway robber right there. Hopefully those who play it on vita at least bought the memory cards that were on sale the other day.

It's two more characters and a stage. I believe that's what the last one (Kat, Emmett, Wipeout stage) came in at, as well.

Something worth mentioning is that a voucher for Zeus and Clarke comes FREE with God of War Ascension.

Here are links to the patch notes. It says 1.09 in the article, but they say that is just a guess on their part. I believe the actual patch will be 1.10.

Part 1 - http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2013/03/14/playstation-all-stars-patch-notes-for-1-09-posted-goes-live-on-march-19th/
Part 2 - http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2013/03/15/second-set-of-playstation-all-stars-patch-1-09-notes-include-character-and-item-balancing/

It looks like Big Daddy got his level 1 and 2 supers buffed, which makes me happy. If I'm understanding the note correctly, his level 1 will be MUCH easier to land.

So they are charging $5 for each of the characters? I guess I'll just never be a high-end Sonymite, no wonder I didn't get the $10 credit.

That Emu Kid says:
Cheaper than Blazblue, but not as cheap as Capcom (per character... you could only buy the SFXT characters as a bundle, though, and that was $20).

So much for a "free" game.

PS All Stars was a 1.3 gb DL at launch - the 2 patches have been almost as big as the full game ... I had to delete stuff from my 8 gb in the first place ... with this new patch, there just isn't room on the card & I don't want to get rid of 3 PSN games to accomodate the patch ... I'm amazed they can't do something to reduce / zip the file ... as it stands now, you need 4 gbs for the game & patches - a $20 cost .... :-( so there is nothing "free" about the digital version.

It's going to take me a while to get used ot the game. I use Nariko and she feels so slow because of of not being able to do and air attack and land and attack right away.

That Emu Kid says:
That's silly. I understand your predicament, but not being willing to free up the card space to store the patch doesn't make the game somehow cost money.

saskamazon says:
a 4 gb Vita memory card costs $20 ... I can't play the digital "free" game without buying the $20 card ... since Sony didn't send a free card, this game with patches, is costing me $20 ....

The Drizzle says:
this is ridiculous. why the heck are these patches so damn big? it only fits my conspiracy of sony making everybody buy more cards.

MrFoxhound says:
Is this game even worth it? I probably wouldn't play it online. Does it have as much SP meat as Smash Bros does?

"The update is 855mb on Vita."

Ugh! I had a feeling this would be the case. Sony needs to stop adding characters, or the game will end up being 32 GB by itself on Vita! The first DLC was also about 1 GB.

Sony needs to be more cognizant of the Vita's limited memory.

Fox, the game is actually really good, and tons of fun. It really surprised me.

The Drizzle says:
the SP is pretty much like the SP from the n64, minus the target/platform stages.

i am pretty annoyed about this giant patch thing. my last two trophies are both online trophies, but i dont really want to add another gb worth of PS allstars onto my vita.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 19, 2013 1:46:31 PM PDT
Fullme7al says:
No, not worth it for single player. But if you have friends or family members who enjoy games like smash bros it will be worth it if you can buy it on ps3 for like 20 bucks.

I have a code from god of war that someone is welcome to have. It's not on me at the moment, but I can post it later, or email it when I get home.. I have no need for it.

D_Strasse says:
It really wouldn't be _that_ big a deal, except Vita mem cards are stupid expensive and that make every GB come at a premium. An almost 1GB update is more than a minor inconvience in this situation, it's a financial decision.

You also can't play it without a Vita, but nobody seems to be complaining about how this game cost them $200+.

Voice of god says:
They're perfectly cognizant of the Vita's limited memory. That's why they're making you buy more of it.
