The Vita sales have been looking up over in Japan. In fact, it wasn't too far off from beating the 3DS. Sony really should cut the price of their system so that more people can enjoy it.

You said the same thing about the 3DS....

We're still not sure if this will be sustained or not like the 3DS. The price cut has definitely helped but the Vita also just recently saw the release of Phantasy Star Online 2 which has done quite well. Sales may tapper off in a few weeks or they may continue as is, too early to tell or start acting like the sales slump is completely over.

Sony needs to get more high profile software out to entice people to buy. Regardless of price that is still an issue with the 3DS and with Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate right around the corner I wouldn't be surprised to see the Wii-U and 3DS jump through the roof while the Vita slowly goes back to scrapping by each week.

With that said Sony definitely needs to look at their options and reduce price world wide. It definitely wouldn't hurt sales that is for sure.

So right after a price cut it almost sold as much as the 3DS? I guess you take what you can get in fanboyland.

D_Strasse says:
I'd like to see numbers but for now I'm thinking that numbers are inflated due to the recent price drop and will settle down a bit once the drop is the new normal. Still, they _should_ continue to stay above pre-drop levels.

Now bring on the games.

Edit: Crap, ninja'd.
