Looks like it. Wonder why it took this long to show it more?

Hey says:
It looks better but it still doesn't look too interesting.

I like the "I Used To Be A Human Like You" Achievement for shooting a Walker in the knee with a bolt. It's clever.

The video did make it look like it took a leap from "disastrously bad" to "almost mediocre". Inspiring hope!

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct videogame isn't due out until March 19, but we already have the first review of the game. How is that? Well, it comes courtesy of Norman Reedus' son. In an interview with The Walker Stalkers, Norman Reedus revealed that he got an early copy of the game, which he previously verified by posting a photo to Instagram.

Norman Reedus has a thirteen year old son named Mingus, who became the lucky recipient of the game. Here's how Reedus described what his son thought of the game.

Norman Reedus said, "We got the first copy of The Walking Dead Survival Instinct video game, and so he was the first civilian to play the game. And the game, it's insane. He's good at games to. The game's hard, and it's really scary actually for a video game. He was playing it, and he was like `Turn on the lights!'"

Reedus added, "It's an intense game. It's really good. But he was you know playing that, and it was kind of fun watching him play me, and you know hear my voice like `Get down! Merle, Merle, where are you?' It was pretty intense."

TL;DR Norman Reedus' (Daryl from The Walking Dead) son enjoyed the game.

Hey says:
...so the positive review is from someone connected with the game. No bias there.

I can't wait to hear what the other characters' children think!

It's the only review.

I spend enough time around 13 year olds to know that their opinions don't have much value...still have hope for this game though.

We all spend the same amount of time on the VGF.

Windowless van and everything, eh?

It still doesn't look that good really... It's a step up from what we've seen before but when you started looking that bad how hard was it to improve? The complete lack of information, gameplay, and more on such a high profile IP is quite telling about the overall quality of what the final product is going to be.

I also have a hard time getting excited for someone who was featured in the game (and one of the only people talking it up) saying it is good.

I'm expecting to see a lot of "5 out of 10's" from reviewers (at best) when this releases next week.

Activision also refused to advertise Singularity. Not saying this'll be the same situation, but Activision's known for this.

But I think some people gave Alpha Protocol 5/10 and that game's amazing.

Terminal Reality also doesn't have a great development history outside of their Ghostbusters title. Raven Software had experience in the FPS genre, it was trying something new, and Singularity wasn't looking to be some sort of quick cash in on a popular IP after another studio saw massive success with the same IP in a different genre.

Also wasn't Alpha Protocol riddled with bugs upon release?

What don't I follow about this line? I can't make heads or tails out of it for some reason.

StriderNeo15 says:
I think he's saying that Singularity wasn't bad because it was it's own IP and not trying to cash in on a popular TV series(The Walking Dead) or ride the coattails of a successful game based on the same IP(Telltale's The Walking Dead)

Kirksnowsion says:
Not sure. Maybe this will help? Popular IP = Walking Dead. Another studio's massive success with same IP, different genre = Telltale's Walking Dead.

hmmm... first review from a 13 year old? Is this rated T for teen? cause that would be disappointing.
