Bought a 64 pack of AA batteries from radioshack and a Gameboy advance from gamestop and a few RPGs. I'm all set if the power goes out here in NY.

I'm here in Baltimore and the rain has already started. I'm hoping that the power doesn't go off but I have my DS, 3DS, and Vita fully charged just in case. Be safe everyone that is in the path of Sandy. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

I'm in SC, and we only got cloud cover and nice cool temps with a great breeze over the weekend (thanks, Sandy), but if I were still in NJ, I wouldn't have to go to work today or tomorrow; I would get paid for it, and it wouldn't cost me PTO time. Damn me for moving!

In Massachusetts. Nothing here yet.

Been raining since Friday in Ohio. The wind is picking up by my house, but so far nothing has been too bad here. Our weather usually sucks this time of the year anyway, being by the lake and all, but we'll see if we get hit by anything as the week progresses. Good luck to everyone in the path of the storm.

Stay safe everyone!

OP says:
I'm in DC, and it must have started raining here sometime yesterday late afternoon. It's still going right now, and I think DC shut down pretty much everything for non-emergency personnel.

Well, on Long Island, and have only had a little rain so far :). We're supposed to get hit later this afternoon, but fortunately, got the day off for it :)))

Here in Louisville, they are calling for the effects of the Hurricane to hit right around Halloween. Hunker down everyone and stay safe.

I don't know if I should be thankful or not for turning down the job transfer I was offered to the East coast, while we might not get the Hurricanes and major tropical storms here in California we do still get the wonderful earthquakes which makes life here so wonderful.

I put clothes on and everything.

I'm eastern PA and at work my stupid leasing office is open cause they just expect everybody to use PTO days. Heavy rain right now but leaving early wish everybody the best. I wish NFS Most wanted was out already right now all I have to play on my vita is LBP and Zen Pinball if the power goes out.

MrFoxhound says:
It's a state of emergency in PA. They can't be open. If you get into an accident going to or from work, then they are completely liable in a lawsuit.
