"3DS, you might as well have given up the instant the Vita was announced because you have lost the handheld battle."

3DS sales to date 17.7 million (averaging 1,106,000 per month since release in Japan in Feb 2011)
PS Vita sales to date 2.3 million (averaging 383,000 per month since release in Japan in Dec 2011)

"See how stupid you look? Imbecile."

No company has ever beaten Nintendo in handheld sales since the original Gameboy has come out. It's not going to happen now or anytime in the near future either.

"Idiot."

Protip: Making angry comments on the Internet and calling other people names, doesn't make you smarter than them. It just makes you look foolish.

I will leave it at this because it is obvious you will not listen to reason and are blind to anything non-Vita.

Your argument is just plain terrible. The 3DS is garbage? You know what? You convinced me to plunk down over 300 dollars to buy a Vita and a memory card. Oh crap I have to get a game now too...And a case of course and screen protector. Damn now we are well over 400 dollars.

On a serious note: The Vita is a great system. It will hopefully have a long shelf life. But to wish it to "smash" the 3DS is childish and stupid. And to say that it is made for children makes me wonder if you are 12 and using your mom's account.

Adding a game to the cost of the vita aint fair. You still gotta get new games with the 3ds. The memory cards are a real rip off though.

Don't mind either way.

I'm partial to Nintendo, but I don't see the point in bickering about who's best. That being said, the 3DS is doing better than the Vita in terms of sales and profit.

" he 3DS has had a year and a half to build up it's library and the Vita has only had a few months."

That's true but here is the difference. The Vita has a formidable competitor. While the 3DS was in a bad situation last year, it only squandered its head start. The Vita has to establish itself while at the same time having to contend with a surging 3DS.

I do think that the Vita can be successful but Sony is going to have to start taking their system seriously.

Second analog sticks and quad CPUs don't sell video game systems. Games do and the Vita is currently lacking games that appeal to paying customers.

I love it when Sony Ponies get upset.

Dude you have some serious issues. I suggest counseling. You really need to get laid...I am sorry but you are a mess. You just wrote a long diatribe and once you claimed that Vita was flawless and you are not a fanboy in the same sentence....I stopped reading. Go Lynx.

Facelord: I was kidding about everything I said. I don't want to you to hunt me down and eat my liver, and wear my face as a mask. The Vita is the best! Nintendo sucks!

lol at Facelord making fantastically moronic statements like "The 3DS started way more poorly than the Vita."

Facelord says:
I'd like for you to repeat that in half a year.

The lack of a second slide pad does prevent game systems from being sold, and the fact that the 3DS' 266MHz dual-core processor is around an eight as powerful as the Vita's(not to mention the fact that the Vita has 32x as much VRAM and four times as much RAM) means the Vita appeals to developers way more than the 3DS- you can't even run Unreal Engine 3 on the 3DS. Titles like Skyrim could totally work on a Vita, they're completely impossible on the 3DS. Oh yeah, and Rockstar's apparently working on a Vita title- when the Vita gets a GTA, an Assassin's Creed AND a CoD there's no way it won't explode in sales.

RJMacReady says:
If we are still asking where are the games around the holidays, then the Vita may be in trouble. As I recall, it took until its first holiday season for the 3DS to really get rolling.

Gamers are so impatient. It must be from all the instant gratification you get from modern games.
