I think we can all agree that the unlimited anonymous money collected by Super P.A.C.s are a bad thing and helped give rise to the super-vitriolic campaigns we see today. Since they're only loosely affiliated (let's not kid ourselves and say they aren't affiliated) with the candidate they endorse they can spew whatever hateful nonsense they want while the candidate is allowed to distance themselves and still reap the benefits.

I agree, but I simply think we need to clear all the stupid rules and get back to having candidates be able to collect it themselves. This game is money-whack-a-mole isn't getting rid of it and it isn't getting more transparent. Election equivalent of the "drug wars" IMHO.

I live in Ohio and I have to say im all for getting the insane ammount of money out of the election. The only commercials that air here are political adds. im not exagerating. it wouldnt surprise me next time if they didnt start delaying tv shows so that they could air more adds its that bad. and I am so glad i dont have a land line phone. They come to your door 3 times a day to ask you who your voting for. you look up in the sky and theres a romney blimp. you goto church the pastor preaches about the evils of liberalism. I'm surprised i havnt seen someone with vote for x tatooed on thier forehead.

I think that it's appalling that ANY candidate is permitted to torture the American citizenry 24/7 the way these candidates are...no matter how much money they have to spend on ads...

OR...I would love to see one of them say..."I do NOT approve of this message and here's why"..winks*

AND.... contrary to PoPular belief around here...I AM an educated individual...have a brain and can actually think for myself... but what about the other massive sector of society that happens to believe this crap that they're being force fed???

MogwaiFearSatan....Can you explain this to me??? Hm???

*ed

McAwesomeo says:
The only positive thing about that is that TV channels are only required to cut the best possible deal for the campaigns themselves. They charge the PACs every cent they can, but if the actual candidate's campaign buys ad time they have to give them the absolute lowest rate. So in one aspect, they are doing good for local economies.

"I an educated individual"

I somehow remain unconvinced.

Did the inability to spell or properly formulate a sentence give it away?
