Most people dont chamber the round before loading the mag though. BF3 give you the +1 in all the guns btw ;)

30 round mag + 1 in the chamber.

I should clarify.

After an engagement, you drop the current mag and put in a fresh mag. This gives you 30 in the mag and 1 in the chamber. I'm not saying that you chamber a round then put in the mag. :-)

And I know some games do it. I think ArmA does as well.

Two in the chest, one in the head.

Yeah. Very few games get that and it annoys me too. I got spoiled with Battlefield doing that so well.

" You can't have mountains of anthrax."

I got one of those in my backyard; not my choice. Mowing the lawn SUCKS.

I used to chamber a round and then load another into the mag.

Now I usually just load the mag and chamber the round. I hope I'm never in the situation where that extra bullet would mean that much to me.

If we got rid of everything but black powder rifles and olde timey dueling pistols we'd see who the REAL gentlemen are.

Also, legalize dueling.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 9:02:44 AM PST
I figure I'm already using the extended mag, so there's a decent amount there.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 9:03:05 AM PST
Yes, dueling would need to be included in that ban. I might be OK with that.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 9:03:33 AM PST
Ah, that's just what I'm familiar with. I got good enough that I could eject the brass and have it land in the tin I was lying next to.

It looks like there was only a single shot from a handgun used and that was on himself.

Obama is doing a speech on gun control right now.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 9:08:26 AM PST
Too bad he didn't do that in the privacy of his own home to begin with.

Did you know you can buy bulletproof kids backpacks?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 19, 2012 9:21:52 AM PST
Soulshine says:
Yeah I saw that on the news this morning.

On the one hand, I can't fault parents trying to keep kids safe. And if it saves a life then it's totally worth it. On the other hand, I think it's kind of unfair to the kids. You can't just not tell them it's a special bulletproof backpack - defeats the purpose. But you also can't explain it to them without putting a horrifying image in their heads of cowering behind that bulletproof backpack during a school shooting situation. I don't know.

I bought a G23 around the same time. 2x10. I still only have those mags. I never did buy a hi-cap

The previous assault weapons ban lasted from 1994 through 2004. It defined an assault weapon as any gun that was:

- semi automatic, meaning one round is fired per each pull of the trigger
- used a detachable magazine

And featured any two of the following attributes:

- a folding or telescopic stock
- a pistol grip
- a bayonet mount
- a flash suppressor
- a grenade launcher

If you are, either your should have aimed better, or you were frakked no matter what.

Did you know most bulletproof things aren't?

Kevlar ain't gonna stop a 5.56x.223. Certainly not a 7.62.

How can one of the biggest arms dealers in the world lecture people on gun control?
