It is wrong. He should be tortured first than shot.

Bringing him back as a mindless zombie would be too kind.

I live in Katy, I think in the top 3 of the US for biggest growing town. We have ~10 highschools, ~20 middle schools, and ~30 elementary schools. And we are a town not associated with Houston. We have never had anything like this either to come out. The only real cops that were hired were just Katy ISD cops, and they only started doing that about 6-7 years ago. Before then you just had security "guards" and hall monitors.

So my town kind of was like Newtown, probably about 20 years ago.

Mindless zombies wouldn't feel the pain. The torture would be wasted...

Your town is probably bigger than my State is. Newtown is the biggest (or one of the biggest) towns in the state, but the state itself is tiny.

2007 was when COD4 came out, when the big breakout of military FPS MP games started flowing out....

Somehow I believe some crazy politician will make the connection.

PacinoBully says:
Honestly, the only thing I can possibly think of is that this guy had a kid that was being bullied or something else was happening to their son/daughter while at the school and they just lost it.

That, or they are just a pair of crazy 20 somethings that want attention.

Probably doesn't help to mention that one of the governors of CT is extremely against and hates violent video games

This stuff really just pisses me off, and makes me really sad. So many lives lost before they really even started, and just imagine how this will affect the survivng family and schoolchildren. They'll have to go back to school, and realize some of their friends aren't there anymore.

Then I'm glad that I'm not the only one that feels that way.

saskamazon says:
every parent in the area must be losing their minds ... wonder if all 18 victims have had their parents notified .... 11 days before Christmas - they would likely have gifts wrapped for children that will never walk through the door again ....

why shoot the children ? this is mind boggling.

The guy was only like 22 or something like that Cant imagine he had a kid that was being bullied in school. Things like this are going to force schools to look like prisons with security etc.

got mayo?™ says:
Trust me. We can't bring back time, but this pos is better off dead. Now.

There are victims everywhere. His own family will feel the guilt of the innocent families and be shamed forever.

What we need is schools to start preparing for the worst and more robust surveilance during school hours. Principals take note, if you are pissing off little thug life immature parents, you need an avenue to bring this to the attention of someone that can protect school and investigate. You can't keep altercations on a piece of paper or confidential.

Oh hush Kung Fu, this is a tragedy, this isn't some stupid political/religious pointless article. You can always press the X button on the top right if you feel so hurt that this 1 thread is ruining your mood for the day.

Just to clarify, carrying guns in public and walking into a SCHOOL with ballistic armor and four goddam guns is a different issue entirely. This isn't about freedom, this is about complete madness. This is the difference between someone being allowed to drive a car on the street and someone being allowed to drive a tank through a supermarket.

There's not enough pain and suffering in the world for whoever did this...
