We all know they don't play video games in the first place.

Except for laketrolls. I think they play video games.

I have purchased and played this game. And while I can see the similarities to Smash bros., it's actually a lot less like it than you think. Where in smash bros. You can only win by knocking your opponent out of the ring, in All-Stars the idea is to build up a super attack, only those can kill an opponent. And it's oddly a lot different.

Brawl is more new player friendly, All-stars is not.

What's not accurate about it?

Accept for Stamina game mode, the only way to score a kill in Brawl is to knock an opponent out of the ring.

I read that as you saying you have to knock someone off the stage and have them fall to their death to win. You can damage someone enough where if you hit them with an extremely weak attack they go flying off the screen and die.
