My vote goes to Bethesda.

Seriously thousands of hours played with Oblivion. So many characters. No fast travel plays. Magic characters/stealth/strength. I've played this game from start to finish so many times since 2006 that it has to be my most played game of this gen.

Fallout 3 is a very close 2nd for total time played. One of these days, I will get those Silver Tongued Devil and computer hacking trophies.

Nintendo: Galaxy, Galaxy 2, NSMB, DKCR, Prime 3, Wario Shake It, Punch Out, Twilight, Skyward, etc.

In terms of variety, Nintendo just flat out developed the most games I played.

Highly underrated, IMHO. Very fun game. Mind blowing? No, but still fun. It was a nice compliment to an overall strong library of games. I mean if that were the only exclusive the Wii had in an entire year, I'd be annoyed. But games such as Wario Shake It are great additions to other top shelf exclusives. Not everything has to be 90+ Metascore in order to be fun.

How is this even a debate? Clearly it's Interplay.

I'd say Rockstar has a good go at this gen. And Valve has done one hell of a job.

Out of the big 3 it would be Nintendo of course. Sony has had an absolutely terrible track record with exclusives this gen unfortunately. Out of the others I think Platinum Games because they put out 2 of my all time favorite games.

I am shocked at the Naughty Dog votes. I love Uncharted, great series.. probably the best new IP this generation, though Gears puts up a fight. But what else has Naughty Dog done this generation other than 3 Uncharted games? I think Insomniac was better with Resistance 1-3, Crack in Time and Tools.

Could not agree more with this. Like the crazy people out there who think the Jak games were better than R&C, ridiculous.

What it boils down to is Naughty Dog is an extremely overrated developer that has put out some pretty mediocre games over the years.

I really liked the games by Twisted Pixel this gen. I spent more time with those than I should've, I think.
