I finally broke down and bought a tablet. I went with the Ipad due to the fact Target was giving away a $50 gift card with the purchase of one plus I had a coupon for an extra $10 gift card for spending over $50. Plus with my 10%+5% discounts, I ended up paying $451. I plan on using those gift cards towards the buy 2 Wii U games get 1 free. Target has the Wii U Skylanders Giants starter pack for $49, plus I'll probably get Scriblenauts which is on sale for $39 and 1 other game which will have me paying around $50 out of pocket for 3 Wii U games after it's all said and done Now is 16GB enough space to hold nothing but games and apps. I don't plan on puting any movies on my Ipad. So does anyone know how on average how many apps/games I can put on my Ipad? I was debating about returning it and paying the extra $100 to get the 32GB but if I can hold a lot of apps and games on the 16GB, I won't. Thanks for the help.

You could have bought the 32GB Nexus 7 at GameStop for 249.99.

Just sayin'.

Nope. I'm constantly having to shuffle stuff around to fit apps on my 16gb iPad 2. Often resulting in deleting content that I must then redownload at a later time. Finally, I just took all of my music, and I just have apps and games on it now.

Console/PC games > App games

Just saying.

That would really depend on how much you download. Apps are not really that big. However, some games that you would be accustom to play will take up about a gig. Some examples are both Rage and Baulder's Gate takes up about 1.2 gigs each.

IMO I would never go for the smallest size. You never know what you would want to do in the future.

I agree, if you plan on just surfing the net, playing Angry Birds Star Wars HD, having cool 'editor picks' apps, 16GB is all you need. If you plan on doing heavy gaming like Fox, I would go for the 32GB+.

Oh yeah, I only have about 3.5 gigs free. Most of the space being used is for games. It's hard to pass up when so many games go free or $.99 all the time.

Even if you don't plan to use it for games, you eventually will. I didn't get it for games, but it's what I spend the most time on it now by far.

Appshopper.com is a good watchdog site that will send you emails when anything on your wishlist drops in price.

Thanks everyone, I'll probably return it tomorrow after work and just get the 32GB.

You know what, I might just go with the 64GB for an extra $181 after my 10%+5% discounts. This will ensure I have enough space for a long time.

Get the 32GB. I have a 16GB iPad that technically belongs to my office. I've filled it up almost completely with apps (hardly any content yet) and am constantly deleting games so I can fit a new game on it.

I have a 64 GB iphone and unless you have a lot of movies it's difficult to fill up.

For games and apps only, that PLENTY of space. We are not even close to filling ours up.

Now if you plan on storing pics, or movies, or music (all stuff that goes on my iPod) then no way is that enough space.

congrats on the purchase Jaw - they're a lot of fun ... I have the 16 gb & about 5 pages of games / apps .... with a bit of memory still available ... I don't store music / video on it, & it has been working out very well ... ipad downloads are not say like Sony where one game could take 14 gbs. .... most are very small, my largest being Infinity Blade .... they also have cloud storage, so you can rotate stuff on & off the unit if you are filling up the memory .... I think my purchased list is about 200 .... if you're going to return it, probably the 32 would meet your needs for a long time ...

can't you just put in a micro SD card in, and move some/most of the apps there as needed?

Ouch, then get a real tablet, Android. So far I have not seen a android one without a memory slot (I know there are some, just not seen any).

For me its better than deleting apps and having to redownload them again if i need it back. Apple is not any better than top company android tablets. Atleast apple can learn and add a micro SD in their next gen.
