I am so out of the loop these days with where I'm at, if it wasn't for my university graduate classes Boarderlands 2 and Halo 4 would have been day ones for me, now I won't be picking them up until I can get them for under $20.
Which gets me on another interesting point. If you know you aren't going to get around a game for a long time, even if it's an awesome game you totally want, will you still buy it day one to "support the developers" or whatever you crazy kids call it these days, or do you wait until it's really cheap and then buy it, or do you buy it for whatever price it happens to be when you do have the time to play it?
I'm the middle one... I just wait for the the right sale and pounce, even it is months or years until I get to it. Mind you, the "right" deal would be under $10 usually.
