The word 'kersploosh' makes me think of Archer.

This sounds...rather lackluster. Come on, Nintendo...what's the deal!?

Huh, I thought games like The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Lego City Undercover, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, HarmoKnight, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Fire Emblem made for a pretty good lineup.

Maybe they are waiting for E3 or Nintendo World to do something amazing.

Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3 are nice, but every other Wii U game has been out for a while (except Lego). I was really hoping for more. Even if it's Wind Waker HD. Where's Bayonetta 2? The Wii U at least needs new announcements! The 3DS lineup is better.

I doubt Bayonetta 2 is ready to be shown. E3 is a better venue for new announcements. PAX is a different kind of event. Ever been to one?

Sadly, no. But I'd love to go one day!

If you can, try to go to PAX East as it seems more VGF members make that one.

Well I'm betting with Super Mario U they will be showing off the Super Luigi U content.

Sounds like E3 from last year.

Pass.

Oh boy, a bunch of games that are already out, and a couple we've already seen lots of. How effing exciting!

Since today is the first day of spring do you think they will announce when the spring update will happen?

Zen Kaizoku says:
Why blow your entire load at PAX when E3 has yet to come? If Nintendo doesn't "win" this E3 it'll be because the other new consoles had great first showings. If there were no hardware reveals to look forward to this year it would have been in the bag for Nintendo.

That being said, on the sales side of things, Wii U and 3DS are going to blow up this fall.

You do know that PAX is more of a festival than an industry announcement venue, right?

Benpachi says:
They had better rock E3, or they are seriously in danger.

Benpachi says:
I do, but considering the current situation for Wii U, it would have been very wise to show off something new and exciting.

GarionOrb says:
Didn't Sony say they were gonna make some announcement at PAX during their PS4 reveal?

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 20, 2013 10:53:36 AM PDT
Well, they can only bring games that are ready to be playable.

GarionOrb says:
I don't think Nintendo will "win" E3 this year, no matter what they show. The PS4 and NextBox will steal the show (unless it's another "five hundred and ninety-nine U.S. dollars" fiasco).

Reggie drops the ball so much it makes me wonder if he even has hands.

I think there were rumors of a PS4 unveiling.

I think that's what people are forgetting. They usually have a a whole lot of games already out that are playable at the event. PAX is centered around fun first and game announcements...well perhaps not even 2nd because there is a focus on panels, games of the non-video variety and a whole bunch of other cool stuff.

Also the majority of game announcements are based more around add ons, mods, and indie games.

In reply to an earlier post on Mar 20, 2013 10:55:57 AM PDT
Well for much of the gaming audience there games are probably new to them.

GarionOrb says:
No, I think either Sony or one of the presenters at the unveiling said they had more to announce at PAX. Square-Enix said they'd announce more at E3.
