CoD4 was the last one I bought. I just borrowed the others for the campaign.

I made a huge mistake buying Black Ops. I got sucked into the hype and got it on day one and it is really the only game this gen I really regret buying. I will never be playing another Call of Duty game.

When I can get it for $15, then I may get it. Emphasis on "may".

Yeah I too soccumed to the hype and I got sucked right into it. But I sold it on craigslist a week later. But this new bops has a new zombie mode which looks fun.

Until this week I was saying I wasn't but that's because I thought it was coming out on November 20th and since I'm getting the Wii U plus a few games I didn't want to spend so much money in one week.
The more I read about Black Ops 2, the better it sounds.

By my weird logic, it's apparently fine if I spend that much in two weeks. I don't get myself sometimes.

Lol

Really? I thought Black Ops was probably the best Call of Duty game since COD4, lol.

Yeah, I hated it. It was actually my first Call of Duty and and my last.

About 99% of the people poo-pooing it will.

That's what I bet too. I mean how else can a game sell 12 million units in one week?

Billzer says:
that would be the only reason I'd get the game, to play the zombie modes....but haven't given in

Remember the Boycott MW2 Steam Group? There were some screenshots floating around that showed something like 90+% buying MW2 - with the majority of those being day 1 purchases.

Yep. Everyone puts there hatter hat on, but then when it comes out, "Hmm well, this Call of Duty looks good. Who knew? Maybe I should get it."

I bet even Oskar will buy it a week or so after release.
How can 12 million + people be wrong?

I wonder if Call of Duty hatred has done a 180. Instead of being cool to hate it, now it's cool to like it.

Nope, not a chance.

Call of Duty games are not fun. I will be playing Halo 4.

Maybe. If the branching storylines work out well and has more of Gary Oldman hamming it up as Reznov, I might consider getting it.

Slightly off-topic but does anybody remember when the COD series was actually well loved by everyone? Kinda weird looking back on the love for the series back then and then looking at the gargantuan backlash it has now.

Rockhardly says:
I'll buy it. Probably not day one (I waited a bit for MW3), but I'll definately buy it.

I've supported the CoD series since it was called Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Technically, even before that - when it started on the PSOne.

I guarantee I will not buy it! I don't even currently own a console that plays it.
