Doesn't seem that different from the diet of most WoW players. Just replace Coke with Mountain Dew.

"Harris's reported Coke habit would have delivered more than 2.2 pounds of sugar daily"

LOL. Wow, just wow.

The part that really concerns me;

"the family did not consider that Coke was harmful due to the fact of it having no warning signs."

Anything and everything excess is deadly, including water. Do we really need warning labels on everything? I mean really?

"the risks of high doses were not adequately communicated to consumers"

Wow, just wow.

The part of the article that had me trippin':

"The fact she had her teeth extracted several years before her death because of what her family believed was Coke-induced tooth decay, and the fact that one or more of her children were born without enamel on their teeth, should have been treated by her, and by her family, as a warning,"

I question if I drink that much total liquids a day. Honestly I'd guess not.

Actually, I'm not really...I feel like of the few kinds of these things I've seen/heard, they are not typically American. I remember the story of the girl who ate nothing but Chicken McNuggets...wasn't she from like the UK or something?

R. J. Gutt says:
Coke used to be The Real Thing you know, until I think the 1930's when they stopped putting cocaine in coca-cola. And it used to have a lot of salt, like most other soft drinks until the '90s, to make you drink more. However, coca-cola is still the best to use on corroded car batteries if you lack a battery scraper.

Oh god, I missed that part. That really bothers me a lot. Wow.

There was an article about a radio show getting people to drink a ton of water as part of a contest, which killed the winner.

I had a friend (by way of another friend) in my tabletop gaming circle in high school who drank so much diet coke that he had literally no enamel on his teeth.

People are strange.
