Just a heads up. The lowest I've ever seen it.

I'm with you DDustiNN. I bought the regular Blu Rays last Black Friday for $5 a piece. I'm in no need for the extras but from what I've heard is that each movie has about an hour of extra footage added which I'm kinda thinking I would like. Each movie comes on 2 Blu Ray Discs.

The extended cuts are essential if only for the scene depicting Saruman's denouement. I don't why they deleted that.

To retain perfect HD video and audiophile quality audio, I don't think it's possible to fit such a long film on one disc, even if it's dual-layered.

It's been a long time since I bought a movie on physical media, but isn't $40 a lot to spend on 3 movies?

Pirate them, then. I did. I already owned the BD's, but I wanted them to put on a playlist on my PC to play them in a nonstop sequence. Man, it doesn't compare, and that was a 1080p rip. Watch a pirated copy then the actual blu-ray. You'll know where that extra $40 went.

By the way, I didn't actually pirate them, that was just hypothetical.

There, now let the Feds believe what they want.
