I remember similar articles regarding the PSP and DS. You think they would've learned from their past mistakes but, nope, these guys never learn.

Yes, he who pulls the sacred game from Mother Sony's rectum shall save the Vita.

The Vita was the chosen one! It was supposed to leave the handheld market dominated by Sony, not leave it to Nintendo!

The moral of this story: Drugs are good. For some people. Apparently.

Am I the only one who likes both Nintendo and Sony handhelds?

MrFoxhound says:
This sounds like it was written by Keller or Ninzendo, this is an actual IGN journalist and not some fanboy drivel? Because the last time I checked there is plenty more going on with the 3DS than N64 ports. This is complete fanboy trash, and sounds like it came from the comments section of IGN rather than an article written by staff.

LOL, nice troll Jason, article is from October of 2011.

Of course he wouldn't. But you still could've posted the date.

To the people who are upset about the original post- do any of you actually disagree with the author's conclusions?

To be fair, I don't drink coffee, so I haven't had any coffee today, and I had just woken up.

I want to see the websites and authors who published these articles write retractions. Isn't that what responsible journalists and publications do when they are made aware of an error they allowed to go to press?

Responsible journalists... you're adorable!

I know, right?

Keller says:
I remember when Gay, Flores and Oskar all predicted the end of Nintendo and laughed at the 3DS launch. So much for that.

That was a good time.

M. McFly says:
I thought the Vita would struggle but not like this. I underestimated how little support Sony was going to give Vita. Pathetic part is Nintendo showed the way, high price point is a huge mistake so they sacked up and took a price cut early on. All Sony had to do was follow, instead we got $99 memory cards on top of a $250 system. I'll get in the ipad line at that point.

Here's the question.

Why does it matter if it doesn't sell as well? I have both, I like both.

"I'll get in the ipad line at that point. "

And every new ipad that comes out every 5th month or so?

Sales are the only measure of greatness that anything in this industry has. Do not upset the status quo, Fox.

(weird calling someone else Fox on this board.)
