Favorite: The mission type that aims to advance a game's story.

Least Favorite: Escort Missions.

Least Favorite: Escort or timed missions. Get to this place in 2 minutes. Freaking hate that.

The VGF voted on their least favorite mission types a couple of years ago. Here are the results.

I haven't been around that long, but I guess a lot of people agree with me! I think when anything is timed, I tune out (aside from obvious modes like time trial)

I actually don't mind some of these. Fetch quests can sometimes be tedious, but the point a to point b structure isn't all that annoying. As long as there is a reason to actually travel from one place to another, I don't mind them. I also actually enjoy traveling across a map, honestly.

I love that too. Exploring a gameworld is so awesome I rarely fast travel in open world games.

Favorite: the ones where I get to kill stuff. Least favorite: everything else.

I hate most vehicle missions. I don't like being stuck as a tank gunner or a mounted machine gun, for example.
