What's your favorite launch title of all time?

I pick Super Mario.

I really liked Duck Hunt. I always wanted to shoot the dog for some reason.

I did too. That smug bastard...

Super Mario 64 was awe-inspiring as a kid, especially when you pick it up and everything feels perfectly natural.

Made me laugh, so I decided to be the lone up-voter.

On a serious note:

Dreamcast had Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure, NFL2K, and Power Stone.
Xbox had Halo, Jet Set Radio Future, and Max Payne.
NES had the classic Super Mario Bros.
SNES had Super Mario World and FZero.
GameBoy had Tetris. Can't go wrong with that.
Sega Saturn had Panzer Dragoon.
Nintendo 64 had Mario 64, so I believe it would be my top pick.

Mario 64. 3d Mario blew me away. That and Pilotwings equalled my most memorable childhood Christmas.

I don't mean to necro-thread, but I gotta add my two cents:

Wave Race 64 is consistently the go-to game that I've been playing regularly since 1996. Three more years and it'll be twenty years since I picked it up. It has aged remarkably well for a game of that era and is still a tight and responsive racer.

Greatest launch title. Evar.

Mine is a tie between Super Mario World for the SNES and Halo for the Xbox. both games brought me hundreds of hours worth of gaming goodness.
