If you are referring to "protests" that intentionally cause services that some people pay for to be unavailable for periods of time, hell yes I am against those kinds of protests.

If something that I pay for, use, and expect to be able to access is down because a group of people decided to DDOS attack it, I am 110% against that "protest".

They also cost indie devs money when their game didn't launch during the specified windows as well. People that barely have enough cash to fund their game expected their items to be shown for a full week during their launch window. As they skipped a whole month of launches and then instituted the "Welcome Back" program, most people skipped those indie games entirely, further costing the devs more money they probably would have made had the store been available.

You're being very general and vague with your requests. I've stated my opinion. I don't care about the cause. It could be handled other ways without negative effects on the user.

What good does flooding youtube with porn and causing the service to be unavailable accomplish?

Awesome. WBC doesn't have the money to invest in security like Sony does/did. If there's anyone that deserves to get wrecked from Anon, its the WBC.

I was hoping to hit Powerball so I could hire a Mexican cartel to take care of every single WBC member. I didn't win though.

:(

Banner, are you saying that your boyfriend is a member of Anonymous? That would explain your levels of dedication to them when you can't give us a proper reason for agreeing with them.

Most of WBC are attorneys. They make their money off of suing people. I do, however, think that there is a very special place in hell for all of those who are a member of that congregation and that they could use the death of innocents for furthering their message of hate.

How is my view on them extreme though? I dislike the group and don't support them because I haven't ever seem them doing anything that is actually helpful to anyone. Disrupting the services of companies that I use on a regular basis does not help me or anyone else in any way.

You still haven't explained how you think they are good though. I go off of common sense and reasoning and you still have not given any.

So maybe one or two things out of a multitude of them? Doing illegal acts against other illegal acts does not make a right. In a sense they are an illegal online terrorist group. That's nice to see you are OK with that though.

Well I can see this conversation is going nowhere with you. Have fun still thinking that two wrongs make a right though.
